Really pathetic customer service. Asked about a simple technical issue, the answer was almost automatic about something else. 3 times. When I asked to read my question again they started being simply rude. Finally helped me the american department. Definitely not recommend the dutch Optoma.

I had a mark on the lens of my Optoma projector. On the advice of the service team I sent it in and within a week or so it was sent back, fixed, firmware update and cleaned. Greg from the service department kept me informed during the entire process. Excellent service.

I bought the Optoma WHD200 in December 2018 for £199. The unit stopped transmitting 15 months later. Contacted Optoma customer services who having taken my details assured me that they would investigate the matter and get back to me; they didn’t. I sent e mails and after several months of no response as finally informed that as the product was outside the 12 month warranty they could not repair the item. I did not expect an Optoma product to fail after 17 months, it is obviously not fit for purpose. Having said that I should not have been surprised as an Optoma projector that was also purchased failed within the year. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT BUY OPTOMA PRODUCTS. THEY LACK QUALITY AND LONGEVITY AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE CERTAINLY LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED.

Excellent customer service - replaced a lost ear piece (the rubber bit) for free and very promptly. Very grateful for companies that go the extra mile like this, especially when the products are so good too. Big thanks to Luke C in service!

I bought an Optoma hd143x projector just over 2 years ago and it recently just stopped working. It has only ever been run on eco mode on average maybe 10 hours a week. After contacting Optoma I was quoted a ludicrous amount just to get the unit assessed, never mind repaired. In fact the numbers were: Assessment fee £55 + VAT, inward freight £12.50 + VAT, labour £25 + VAT, outward freight £12.50 + VAT, plus any parts needed for repair! As far as I can tell this product has been built to fail. I would avoid not only this projector because of the inferior components but the Optoma brand due to their outrageous repair policy and the associated costs. Having cost around £200 per year I really cannot recommend this item or Optoma to anyone.

I've had the wireless headphones which are absolutely brilliant for a few years now and lost one of the silicon earbuds. I emailed Optoma and heard back from Carina within days who then sent me out some replacements. Super quick service & ever so friendly :) -Rachel

I lost one of the replaceable earbuds and contacted Optoma reaching a Tyrone who asked me to image the one I had lost and email to him. I heard back from his colleague Carina very quickly giving skeleton staff on account of Covid safety measures. They are absolutely first class, small issue but resolved immediately from may what be an unknown brand to many. Can’t fault the service and it’s efficiency. Highly recommended on top of the excellent BE Sport 4 headphones which already surpassed expectations and that’s coming from an audiophile with a very decent system. I very much doubt this would have been resolved so quickly with many of the larger and more well known brands. Can’t recommend them enough⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Bought an optimal projector and it set in fire with the kids in the house - I had to yank it off the ceiling so the house didn’t set on fire

These headphones are seriously good! I recommend them to anyone who wants clear, rich sound with very good bass. I almost solely use them for working out which includes the usual 6 to 10km runs, but more impressively, hill sprints and even bag work... They don't budge... Can handle sweat and rainy conditions and battery life can't be faulted!!! I had my first set stolen and didn't think twice about buying another pair... Didn't even look for a review on any other brand... The customer service is fantastic, replied to an email of mine within a working day!!! Extremely satisfied!!!

A little over a year ago I bought a pair of Optoma NuForce BE Sport4 earphones - the left one has just stopped working for no particular reason. For the price a paid, I find it really disappointing. I was trying to either get support or contact customer service however all the forms on Optoma's UK website require a product serial number to be provided which I expect was provided on the packaging that I no longer have. There should be an easier way to let the company know there are issues with their products.

I could not manage to set 3D on my projector from HDMI. Customer service was very helpful (Marius) suggesting the proper settings and frame rate. Thanks!

Excellent customer service I bought a pair of wireless headphones in April 2019, about 10½ months later one ear starting buzzing for some reason or another. I wrote to Optima and they responded within half an hour, the gent who dealt with me was Liam B, he was really helpful, gave me all the details to send them back, unfortunately the COVID19 outbreak coincided so I knew it wasn't likely to be a quick turn around, however this morning only 1-1½ weeks later Liam informed me the replacements should be arriving today to my surprise. Wasn't met with resistance at any point and they provided a replacement pair of headphones, good proper customer service

Excellent service. We are a charity who had recently purchased a projector for our training courses. The technical support from Matt Hibberd for an appparent problem was friendly, very helpful and, most importantly, patient when dealing with enthusiastic amateurs. The expert guidance on fault checking 'at home' and the speed of taking the machine back in for expert testing was superb. The fault was, in fact, firmly with the "enthusiastic amateurs" but, as opposed to criticism, we received a customised video to take us through the stages when the machine was returned. All is now working perfectly.

Tried to get some answers through the contact us page on their web-site about how long they would provide replacement parts etc for a new projector (before I put down £4K). No response.

I've tried several times to obtain a manual on the web for a DX650 projector but to no avail. Today I rang the Optoma office and was sent a copy within no time, which I really appreciated. It turns out that the manual I should have been looking for was EP752!

Had a faulty uhz65. Purchased from Germany. The store couldn't replace the unit as they run out of stock. Called optoma support and never looked back after that. They took care of everything. Collected unit and replacement new unit was sent in no time. I thought I get my unit repaired but no they gave me a brand new unit. As for the product amazing pictures and videos. Premium quality all around. 5 star customer service and product. Thank you

I’ve had my headphones for a year and a half when one of the earphones ceased to work. I contacted Optoma that replied there was nothing they can do. Luckily I had purchased my headphones through Amazon and they were more than happy to provide me with a full refund. The two companies obviously light years apart when it comes to customer service. No points for guessing which one I’ll be using over and over again.
