Absolutely do not book with this "luxury" booking agency. I paid almost $9,000, and they had me on a 14-hour layover. I only realized this when I landed, as my flight itinerary was long and I didn't bother looking at it in detail. When I started planning my return trip, I had two weeks left and contacted them to change my return flight to avoid the layover. They finally got back to me one day before my flight, claiming they had sent options earlier. They said I couldn't see the options before because their website was conveniently glitched. By the time they finally gave me the options, I was quoted anywhere from $300 to $600, which, regretfully, I was even fine with. However, they came back saying the only option was to pay a $1,356 fee to avoid the 14-hour layover.After being promised multiple options,. It took, on average, 24 hours for them to respond, and they would never pick up there phone. But of course, when it came to taking my money, they were quick and always picked up. *update Eva airline said my ticket cost 7000 and they pocketed 1900 **UPDATED ** and in response, YOU PEOPLE ONLY REPLYED IN TWO TO THREE DAYS AND SOUGHT THE CHEAPEST AIRPORT and route TO GUARANTEE THE AIRLINES WOULD HAVE NO FARE DIFFERENCE and higher profits. PLEASE NOTE THAT I CONTACTED THE AIRLINES DIRECTLY. I frequently reserve planes for $8–10k, so it wasnt about nickling and diming, I will make sure this does not go to waste because these people are awful.
I want to make note of the following incident: We spent around $7000 to book an international trip for a family of 3. However, the system booked our tickets separately, resulting in 2 itena, 2 tickets, which was inconvenient. Consequently, when the airline changed our departure date by 24 hours, I was not notified by the booking agency, ovago. I only discovered the change when I randomly checked my booking. After lodging complaints, I finally received an email about the change. I decided to cancel the booking due to this poor experience, but I had to put up a fight to get it canceled without charge. To make matters worse, they are charging me to cancel the return flight, which I believe is unfair. They booked 2 separate tickets without my consent. It seems like a fraudulent practice, as they can charge two separate cancelation fees instead of one if a person needs to cancel a flight.

Good pricing and really good customer service. Be sure to check the fare rules before booking. There are airline imposed fees for cancellation, change etc which Ovago passes on to customer. So it's not really Ovago charging extra fees. However, they have different support plans which waive off some of the fees as well in case of missed flight or flight cancellation by airline. I didn't opt for any of these. Upon my flight cancellation by airline, I paid just $100 for rebooking and Ovago took care of everything including fare differences etc. The bad part - I booked two more itineraries and the support agent is now calling me 10 times a day to upsell support plan and other paid seat selection services etc. They should really train their sales agent to not annoy customers with upsells.
DO NOT under any circumstance try to change your date to another date, you will be met with a huge penalty fee !!!
Very bad experience
Ovago completely failed to provide confirmed flights for a family of four, despite receiving full payment. This resulted in significant financial loss, emotional distress, and disruption of important family events. The company's customer service was unhelpful, and the offered resolution was unacceptable. Seeking immediate investigation and full compensation.
I put a review, and I was answered, and he asked me to send a flight number, date and all the information I sent it, and unfortunately, there is no reply or answer, just reassurance for fear of losing more customers, beware of this bad fake company.
Your connection system with the customer is complete flaws. When system doesn't recognize the complaints, the alternative resources have no attendees. Therefore, the phone system and emails supports are a complete failure. I made multiple attempts to extend my stay while in Karachi and my husband tried several times from USA but no one responded us on-time so we could make changes to our reservation. Just no more OVAGO. Have a good day.
if I could I would give 0 stars. I booked 2 round-trip tickets for 2 people at the price of 1468 dollars and the next day they called me to tell me that the price is actually for one person! Lies! some liars! do not book tickets through them!
During the purchase of the flight ticket, I made a mistake in my nationality due to my negligence. I immediately contacted Cara through the online chat on the official website. She understood my problem and helped me find the best solution immediately. She was enthusiastic, professional and very patient. I am very grateful to Cara for helping me solve my problem! For the second time ovago makes be check out and shortly after sends an email that the price of the airline has shot up all of a sudden and if I am interested in the new price bla bla bla. Then a message follows shortly like this: "We are writing to inform you that in accordance with our Company’s policies and procedures and in order to maintain our customers’ security, we must carry out a basic verification check with your bank. Unfortunately, the billing details provided by you don’t match your bank records." These are all lies.

Firstly my rep name is Nigel. He was patient with me and ensure that he collected all my travel preferences about the flight. He took time out to explain the minimum acceptable connection time. He sent multiple options and we refund until I found the acceptable flight. I will recommend Nigel to anyone who need assistance.
If I could give AVAGO a zero. It's a scam. We bought international tickets and spent more than $5000. We went to logan Airport and we were told we came when they are closing the gates. We called AVAGO customer service and they stated they couldn't get us on the next flight that they can't even refund the tickets or even reissue the return tickets as a one way. So they scammed $5000. This company was blaming swiss air that they are the ones who took the money yet if we did not board there was no way they did get the money. AVAGO is a total scam

Aug 06,2024Be very careful with this service. Although promised the ability to change flights, they will no longer hold true to their promise. Additionally they will state that no changes can be made, when you contact the airlines directly they can make the requested changes. My advice is to go directly to the airline and avoid Ovago.
