Unbelievably poor experience as I booked international flights. I had received two emails for a single purchase and called to review so I could avoid being double charged. While on the line with the first agent, Danika, I was told that these were first-class bookings, and she could not provide any support. I had booked economy seats and was confused why she insisted that despite the seat numbers being in the 30s they were first class. During this I received a notice that she had cancelled one of the bookings. She would not provide any comment on why I received a cancellation notice and then transferred me to the first-class support line. Percy in the first-class support team confirmed that they were in fact economy seats and that Danika had cancelled one of the bookings without my authorization. He then said he was unable to move the seat selection to the remaining booking and they had been dropped when Danika cancelled the one booking. He seemed to be both unable and unwilling to help with updating the seat booking. Once I kept asking for him to bring the seats from the cancelled booking to the remaining tickets, he began to work through those steps but provided me the additional cost in British Pounds instead of USD. At this point I was fed up and requested to be transferred to a supervisor to resolve the issue. The supervisor Jose was argumentative and used policy as a roadblock instead of taking any opportunity to express ownership or offer solutions. Worse yet, Jose did not follow their own agent's customer service policy of checking in with the customer every 5-7 minutes while on hold. Jose kept me on hold for nearly a half hour before the call dropped without checking in a single time and submitted a request without my authorization that it satisfied my needs. After having to callback to connected with Jose again he still was combative regarding the language included in the request and did not display any empathy. I am so glad I requested a full refund and got my money back because no one should ever go through this experience or purchase a flight through Ovago.

Avoid this company at all costs Horrable company , Its ridiculous I've been tring to get my bag and headphone replaced for over 3 months no one helps.and passes the. Buck over 800 value in damages . my back pack compromised my whole trip and the trips i have planed for after my return. I'm still fighting to get the items replaced United offer to just replace the back pack with a inferior product incomparableand lesser value. I've spent more hours trying to dispute this than the cost of the damaged items and the tickets its a waste of time, energy and is a disgrace a company can't fix their mess ups or support a customer that has had a bad experience. Ridiculous I'll never use United Airlines along with OVAGO and I'll be sure to share and spread the word on how I was treated. since they have my money already they really don't care what happens next because it's like fighting a battle I won't win. THEIFS and contacting anyone on either side no one want to take responsibility.
I had many problems communicating with the travel Agent Angel, who informed me that my ticket was not refundable and she couldn’t help me. Luckily I was able to connect with customer support and Suvi had great follow up, listened to my concerns and took care of getting me a full refund. Thank you Suvi! Great job
*Edit I bought tickets through Ovago for a business trip. Due to an itinerary change, I needed to bump one segment of the flight. The change cost was $1400, as much as the entire booking. I said, fine, I'll eat the middle segment of the flight, and buy a separate ticket. According to Ovago, if I miss any segment, all subsequent segments are automatically canceled and I won't be able to return back home. If you're considering it, remember time is worth something too, and I've already spent hours and hours trying to get information from their customer service that leads to dead ends every time. - Update: Noting that the customer staff were quite pleasant to work with, but like the rest of us, working in the confines of what seems to be a dysfunctional system. Currently waiting on waiting on a manual override of the itinerary segment cancellation approval from the airline.
I was booking international travel and decided to go with Ovago as they were the cheapest option. I made it through the entire checkout process only for them to say that the price had gone up due to "airline timeout" or some nonsense. They increase the price by $150. I could not have checked out any faster. I decided to book with the next cheapest option. While I was booking that one, Ovago called me to inform me that my payment had not gone through. I told them that because they had arbitrarily increased their price I wasn't going to use them. They said they would check again and get back to me. They messaged back with an even higher price. A total increase of almost 40% from the original price. I was able to book through the airline for the original, 2nd lowest price, with no issues, so the "airline timeout" was a load of crap. Don't bother with these nickel and dimers.
I bought a flight through OVAGO, they made a lot of changes, when I went to the airport it seems that they had made the changes wrong and my reservation did not exist, they could not fix it and I lost the flight. I have been asking for a refund for more than 35 days, they use all possible excuses not to give me my money back. This agency is disgusting. UPDATE: They are finally processing my refund, after 59 days (and it may take up to 20 more business days). They gave me a voucher for $125, which I consider insufficient since it was their fault that I had to spend $415.29 more to be able to travel that day and not miss my trip.
Over the past twenty years, I have typically purchased airline tickets from Expedia.com or directly from major airlines. While there are many ticket-selling websites on the internet, most are unreliable. I initially hesitated to use OVAGO due to its poor Google reviews. In November of last year, I booked an international ticket for my mother. Unfortunately, her health took a turn in January, and we had to cancel the trip. The ticket was non-refundable, but I decided to reach out to OVAGO.com, hoping for a possible solution. From the customer service representative to Pierce, who personally handled my case, everyone was incredibly understanding and professional. Pierce directly contacted the airline and, within just two days, provided a very reasonable and satisfactory resolution. I truly appreciate his effort and dedication. Because of this positive experience, I am giving OVAGO.com the highest rating on Google Reviews. This is a trustworthy company, and I highly recommend their service.

nope would not recommend. just used them in december and it was a nightmare i don’t even know where to begin. basically i bought insurance for my ticket and it was all a hoax. listen simple just buy direct from the airlines you don’t need that headache.

I searched on Google flight for a plane ticket for a trip from Pittsburgh - Madeira in May 20-May28 2025. The price came to be 1578.11$. I pressed “continue” to buy it (on Jan 17 2025) and I was given the options to buy it through several websites like Expedia, TripAdvisor, United, Lufthansa and Ovago. Ovago was the cheapest so I bought it from them. They didn't ask me for the passport number or the name as it appear in the passport sign that they didn't actually book the flight. A couple of hours after that they sent me and email saying there was an "involuntarily schedule change" and my new trip starts now on May 22-May 28. I read this email the next day after booking it! I have already booked a hotel in Madeira from May 21-May 28 and rented a car. Why would these people think I want to shorten my vacation? How is ot possible that there are no flights available for me on May 20 when this trip is 5 months away? What kind of a scam is this? Legit travel agencies work with you, suggest alternative routes/airlines, have your interests at heart and do not tell you to leave 2 days later and thus have your vacation 2 days shorter. Actually I called a travel agency I used before and they were able to find me alternative routes the dates I wanted and even I trying to booking via United airlines I was able to find flights on the days I need to travel. These people are shmucks. I asked for a full refund. They sent me another document saying that yes, they will proceed my refund but I have to acknowledge that I agree with their terms and conditions. Their terms and conditions want to charge me 250$ as "processing fee, because I requested a refund after more than 24 hrs of booking the flight, which I disagree with. I want ALL my money back. I searched online after that and I found several discussions where people complained about Ovago. I find these tactics appalling. Is this even legal?
I booked the ticket with Ovago along with cancel for any reason. Paid an extra 600$, But when I came to a point to cancel my ticket they were again saying different charges and not going to refund my amount in full..Then it comes to T&Cs and talking all the nonsense and rules. When checked with the airline they don't have these many charges flat cut 320 per passenger But Ovago customer care is rude and not polite Still getting more and more reasons to add up and refunds will decreasing. What is the purpose of taking Kind of Insurance if they are still going to charge full amounts for the cancellations? Don't ever trust Ovago
