Feb 02,2024I commissioned a painting from Alex as a gift for my sister, who is a huge fan of Lovecraftian mythos. My request was not at all like anything I saw in Alexâs portfolio, but he was very accommodating. I wanted an impressionist image of ships at sea being overshadowed by a large, ambiguous, cloudy, tentacled mass. I created the initial image using DALLE3 AI. It came out as a 1:1 square, so when I sent it to Alex, he sent me a mock-up with the edges extended to fit the aspect ratio of the canvas. Once I approved the image, Alex began creating the piece. I even received a progress photo part-way through the process. After the painting was finished, I was interested in framing the piece. I received a number of photos with different frames to choose from. Alex offered an excellent recommendation on which frame matched the best with the subject matter and colors of the painting and I went with it. The whole process was shorter than I expected. The process of seeing your image come to life in such a beautiful rendering is truly an awesome experience and I am actually sad that it is over. I just received the painting in the mail this week (thank you Alex for upgrading my shipping!). It arrived safe and sound with no damage to any part of it. Seeing the painting in person for the first time is an experience like nothing Iâve ever had. I canât wait to order again from Alex in the future!

We could not recommend them enough to paint your beloved memories. They worked with us every step of the way and made all the changes we wanted. Never did they complain or make us feel bad. Don't even get me started on how carefully and beautifully packaged the painting was. It was so protected and safe. We will come back if you can afford it...DO IT!!

Jan 12,2024Kate was a genuine pleasure to work with, and it was obvious that she wanted to make sure the portrait was exactly what I wanted. It was packaged very well to protect the canvas, and when I got it unwrapped, I was completely stunned! The attention to detail was astounding! It looked exactly like the picture from across the room and then up close you could see the little details like the individual strands of hair. I am absolutely amazed by the portrait, and it was well worth the money to see how excited my parents were to receive it as a gift. Huge thank you to Kate for being the best!!

I was hesitant due to the importance of the painting however Kate was clear, conscience and extremely detailed in explanation throughout the entire process.
