Jan 09,2024Love my portrait! We got a portrait of a wedding photo and it is breath taking. Kate is extremely talented and captured our images so accurately it almost looks like a photo. Communication was impeccable and she kept us updated at every stage of the process. The whole exchange was handled with great care and professionalism. You can tell that Kate really cares about the pieces she produces and the satisfaction of the commissioner. I cannot fault her process or the result which is now a very much prized possession. I chose her because of the many outstanding reviews and photos available of her work. it was clear to me that her landscapes were as lovely as her portraits which was important for my vision. I asked her to do a portrait of my grandparents. My grandfather died several years ago but my grandmother passed away this past year and I wanted to gift my Mom something that honored them both. And boy did Kate deliver! The backdrop of the painting was as important as the subjects and Kate did an outstanding job. The piece is absolutely beautiful, the colors and the likeness to my grandparents, she really captured their happiness. It moved me and my Mom to tears. I know I'll come back to Kate for any future requests!

I found this shop on Etsy and chose it due to all of the positive reviews. She didn’t turn the photo into art, she turned it into a masterpiece. The comparison between the picture and the painting is immaculate. Five stars doesn’t do the work justice. This painting could honestly be hanging in a museum somewhere. Thank you very much for this piece that will live in my house forever.
