Project Destined, founded by a former Carlyle Group executive, has partnered with 250+ leading real estate firms and 300+ universities around the country to provide diverse students with internship opportunities to explore ownership through live real estate deals. Project Destined is a unique real estate program that provides young adults from underrepresented communities with the opportunity to learn about commercial real estate through a hands-on, immersive experience. The program is designed to inspire and educate the next generation of real estate professionals by exposing them to all aspects of the industry, from property management to deal-making.
At Project Destined, participants work alongside experienced real estate professionals to analyze properties, develop business plans, and pitch their ideas to real estate investors. Feb 16,2025My experience was great because despite there being around 170 students on Zoom, Cedric still made it super interactive and engaging (asking questions and thumbs up/down). I also felt like Cedric was able to teach the concepts in a simple yet effective way, allowing me to fully grasp the information. As for Project Destined itself, I believe they do a great job of connecting you with individuals and professionals who are interested/working in Real Estate. They are also great at giving you information on what to do, such as onboarding.
