Project Destined, founded by a former Carlyle Group executive, has partnered with 250+ leading real estate firms and 300+ universities around the country to provide diverse students with internship opportunities to explore ownership through live real estate deals. Project Destined is a unique real estate program that provides young adults from underrepresented communities with the opportunity to learn about commercial real estate through a hands-on, immersive experience. The program is designed to inspire and educate the next generation of real estate professionals by exposing them to all aspects of the industry, from property management to deal-making.
At Project Destined, participants work alongside experienced real estate professionals to analyze properties, develop business plans, and pitch their ideas to real estate investors. Nov 10,2024Students who are accepted through the program but do not have much knowledge of Real Estate should be separated from the program. Start to have a 101/fundamentals of simple knowledge of real estate and then be able to enter the program. Speaking from experince, I do not know anything about real estate. During this session, when he randomly calls on people, I tense up because I am unsure how to answer the question properly. I understand the lesson but do not fully understand the concept and "why" those things happen in real estate.

Nov 10,2024I really enjoyed this class and the teacher was able to explain things interactively and get the students involved and the only thing that I'd make different is when you change to the PDFs to read them it's a little hard to get back to the zoom that's all other than that I liked it very much
