Not impressed with Racing Breaks. Booked for Aintree Sigala in May & was told my refund would be about an 8 week wait due to staffing issues caused by covid 19, then 14 weeks later & after many sent emails by myself I was told I could only have a credit note which is not acceptable for our group of 9. Had I booked direct with Aintree I would’ve had my cash refund weeks ago but Racing Breaks seem to think they are beyond the law & make their own rules up as they go along & I’m still waiting for my refund So far it’s been 18 weeks! Never again would I contemplate using Racing Breaks they are a total waste of time!
My race day was cancelled due to the coronavirus in March and I am still yet to receive a refund and it’s September! I have tried contacting them numerous times through email and phone with no reply or answer every time! It’s as though they’ve taken my money and left me in the dark. My advice to anyone looking to book through this company is don’t, as if your event is cancelled it’s unlikely you’ll get your money back... Booking ID: 32625 Order Number: 32625
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as they will take your money without hesitation and not repay it when the event is cancelled. I booked to go to Royal Ascot in June and when it was cancelled I had to beg for a refund. I eventually got it in writing that they would refund me in 10-12 weeks despite the law being 1-2 weeks! Over 12 weeks later I am STILL WAITING and now they won't answer the phone or any email. Please DON"T BOOK with this company and waste you hard earned money. Booking No. 301417. I eventually got a refund through my credit card company as Racing Breaks have still failed to contact me or refund me.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!! As part of a group of girlfriends we booked to go to Royal Ascot in June which was cancelled due to COVID. We have since sent numerous emails called and despite being promised a refund by the end of July and having it in writing from them we still have had no refund! They insisted on the full balance being paid back in February when it clearly states in their T&C’s that balance would be due 28 prior!! This on top of them now not responding to any calls or emails is disgusting when they have so many peoples hard earned money! Shame on you racing breaks!! Pay us back!! Very Quick and Easy to book
Had booked a surprise 60th birthday treat with a group of girlfriends for a friend to go to Ascot with a hotel in June but due to COVID ascot was cancelled. After many emails, phone calls and discussions was finally offered a refund by the end of July. To date still no refund and racing breaks are not responding to any of our calls. This is disgraceful behaviour not only to take our money for the booking earlier than the 6 weeks before the event but to eventually offer a refund but not honour it is an absolute fake way to deal with their customers. I will be contacting my bank for a charge back if they don’t respond. I highly DO NOT recommend racing breaks for any bookings as they take your money but when things do not go to plan, they are like ghosts. 😡😡
REFUND PLEASE. Due to Covid 19 our trip was cancelled by Racing Breaks. After many emails of complaints, they eventually agreed to give us a refund, which was promised at the end of July...this clearly has not happened. Everyday day i see fb posts on their new events and how people are booking with them, so they have not gone out of business. It is now September and they are not even responding to my emails... They had also asked us for full payment months before it was due, and this goes totally against their terms and conditions written on their website....we should not have had to part with such a large amount of money before it was due.... It's a shame the L'arc is behind closed doors but Racing Breaks kept me informed the entire time and I can't wait to go next year, or if UK events continue to open then I might move to another event. Nice and easy to deal with and would book again and again
What a joke this company is. Paid last year for an event due to take place June 2020 which was cancelled because of COVID. Tried several attempts to get refund but no one replies to emails or answers the phone. Won’t ever book anything with them again and would advise everyone to avoid them.
just booked Cheltenham races, the information was good and booking so easy and professional. Cant wait!!!
Quick and easy to use
Aintree races will only let you buy so many tickets for west tip stand, so bought 10 tickets through ‘Racing Breaks’. Obviously the races due to covid was cancelled. They offered me a choice of tickets for next year or a credit note for future events. In the mean time Aintree racecourse returned my money bang on time. I said to Racing Breaks that that I would like my money back and Gina replies yes. Each month I was told I would get my money back until I said I would look to go legal. Then no reply. I contacted my credit card and provided them with all the evidence and the money was taken from them within 7 days. I run my own business and understand how covid has effected businesses but some businesses are just using it for an excuse for bad practices. Racing Breaks do not deserve to have people’s hard earned money passed over to them. Reading the hundreds of bad reviews across the internet shows they have no respect for their customer base.
I’ve used racing breaks in the past and have had no problems before. I had my first issue due to Covid-19 as expected. After speaking to Will he left me very satisfied and I will be happy to use them again. 10/10 for customer service.
Now being completely ignored for refund. Do not use this company to book your event! They will promise over and over that they will refund and apologise blah blah blah but 4 months later still waiting... sort it out racing breaks this isn’t good enough
Excellent communication I received a phone call from Will within minutes of enquiring on the website and he spent 10 minutes explaining the package and what other offered were available. Great value for money too.
Still didn't recieved our refund its nearly end of the August!! Very upset

I've used Racing Breaks and Your Golf Travel on a number of occasions and always found it to be a straight forward and value add experience. Their staff really appreciate the flexibility needed in these unprecedented times.

Sep 24,2020Took over 5 months to get a refund, after cancelled event due to covid. Lots of wasted time trying to contact them via phone, also spent a lot of time transferring emails. Money is back in my account finally.
