Do not use this company been waiting for a refund the grand national was told it would be may then June now July now I've received an email saying I'm not entitled to a refund when the jockey club have refunded all payments back to racing brakes I can totally understand the situation at the minute but to tell people that they have no staff to give refunds but they have stuff to take new bookings is a bit of a joke
Have sent several emails regarding refund for racing meeting this weekend and still no response.
Easy to read package details allowing me to make an informed choice...so excited for our 2 night stay and race meet.

Wrote a poor review a few days ago, they replied to review asking for further details which I sent and then notice it’s the same reply they sent to many people on here and still no response. They owe me over £500 in refund for ascot and nobody available to talk to? I have spoken with ascot direct who asked for my details and found my booking and told me they have refunded racing breaks. So why does this company think they can keep my money?

Awful customer service I certainly will not be booking through them again. I’m waiting for a refund of £500+ for a group Ascot booking. I have contacted them several times via phone which is not manned and email for a status and not yet received a satisfactory response. This is already a very difficult time for a lot of people and I have relayed a couple of delicate issues for which they have no regard. I’m very disappointed and the ambassadors i.e Frankie Dettori and Jim Crowley need a dressing down!
Have emailed several times and tried to call. York races music event cancelled and it was a school end of term celebration. As it was a group booking I felt obligated to return the money to the hard working teachers thinking my refund would forthcoming but no no response whatsoever!! Even an automated response so I knew I was in a system awaiting refund. Very disillusioned and would certainly think twice if I were to want to book again. Know things are hard with Covid but they are not the only company in this position and I haven’t any issues elsewhere when an event is cancelled.
Thanks to remotely moving my booking to 2021 with ease. Must be a dreadful time for this business with no crowds at racing. Looking forward to a beer with Frankie at the DWC.

Booked with racing breaks for Ascot earlier this year, I did not realize racing breaks was separate to Ascot main site. I have emailed 5 times and called several and I still haven't received a response or refund. I would thoroughly recommended not using racing breaks as they do not respond, refund or even reply.
Went to the 2019 Cheltenham gold cup with racingbreaks, the hotel they chose was fantastic and the transfers to and from the course were well organised. All in all a good experience and very professional you can see they’ve been doing it for a while.
Booked with racing breaks didnt realise they was third party - am waiting for refund from York Races music event that was cancelled and they said I have to get the refund from racing breaks. I have emailed 3 times and called 7 times and i still haven't received a response looks like i will have to try and get refund back through credit card cause they are not replying to phone calls or emails. Phone line is auto set to messages only.

Getting really upset and frustrated with this company now. Event was cancelled in March due to covid but I am still waiting for a refund. Multiple emails back and forth, they said I would have it in June and still having to chase as I’ve not had a refund. The customer service is absolutely awful!!! *EDIT* 22nd July, still no refund. Company has furlough all their staff. Don’t think we will ever get the money back :( *EDIT* Never got money back, had to claim from credit card company
Simple and easy to use, great package
they have managed to sort out a new date next year so we can still see Bryan Ferry, to be able to do this through such turbulent times as we are going through right now is incredible, well done Racingbreaks

Jul 23,2020Absolutely terrible company to book through. They were quite happy to take £500+ for an event that was not fulfilled. No humans to talk to and an automated email response stating that I am not entitled to a refund due to their terms and conditions. Absolute rubbish. I will continue to make a lot of noise until I receive my refund
