Apr 27,2020Booked very easily and everything went smoothly - until COVID - 19 - when our trip to Dubai was cancelled. Despite the website stating that our packages were booked through a sister company that is ABTA covered - we now discover that this is for MOST of their tours, and of course mine is not one of those tours. Therefore the company have refused to refund me. They have offered me vouchers for next year - but as a self employed person who is unlikely to get government support I need this money now. I also feel that it would be hard to trust this company abroad when they have let me down so comprehensively at home. At the moment my Travel insurance company are not paying me back my money as they argue that this is the responsibility of Racing Breaks. I strongly urge everyone to avoid this company and book the racing breaks themselves. If I had done this I would already have been repaid. Interestingly I have not even been repaid for the excursions that we booked. I am at my wits end - we need this money to pay bills.

Apr 25,2020Purchased tickets for Royal Ascot that announced cancellation. Requested refund but very disappointing that Racing Breaks now advise that they will not refund until they received funds back from Ascot Racecourse. In future I will most certainly not use Racing Breaks and book my tickets direct.

Apr 23,2020Refuses to give a full refund (COVID 19) DO NOT USE. They also report any negative reviews so their rating on here is misleading. Refuses to give a full refund after the Aintree festival was cancelled due to the corona virus. They instead offer vouchers. This is even though "the jockey club" (which is who racing breaks purchases the tickets through) are offering full refunds due to the virus. So next time i highly recommend everyone to go straight through the jockey clue and don't use the joke that is racing breaks. I have paid for a service, that service is not being given, so I want a full refund, its really very simple. Racing breaks is an example of a company taking advantage of the virus outbreak, I will never be using again so I don't want your sh**ty vouchers. Its now almost the end of June, still no refund. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS.

Apr 14,2020Contacted racing breaks re their cancellation tickets and hotel #hallmarkhotelliverpool for the grand national 2020. I made several suggestions re refund, alternative hotel dates etc They said hotel would not offer a refund? The last i heard from them was on the 6th April when they said they would sort something out within a few days. I emailed hotel also with no response :( We will not be wanting to go next year or probably never again as this was a special birthday treat for 2020. I would like my money back as I paid over 600 pound for 2 people for the package.
