Sep 30,2020Unable to give zero stars, which is all this store is worthy of. Payment taken from my father in January and as of the end of September still no items delivered or refund given, despite many many requests and a “promise” from the seller to fulfil the order. Personally I call this THEFT, and would advise anyone thinking of purchasing from this company to be very very wary. Customer service is non existent. **** Buyer beware ****

Sep 12,2020Well, a follow on from a previous review, no sign of either item, I know at least one is available from other suppliers. Emails not answered, seems as if their sitting happily with £350 in their pocket for not really doing much. The order was made by my father in law who used Against my advice what to me was a Supplier unknown to me. I have dealt with other more established suppliers who are far better at managing orders like this, I would recommend others do the same. As With no communication I am faced with no option but to turn to the small claims court to get my father in laws money back.

Apr 26,2020Placed order and received confirmation. After 2 weeks still no delivery so sent e-mail. No response to e-mail so re-sent. Then received e-mail saying item(s) were out of stock. Cancelled order as a result and placed business elsewhere. I appreciate we are living in uncertain times but that is no excuse for lack of communication! Seller has followed up but seems to miss the point. How am I supposed to know (a) you have no stock when your website says "in stock", (b) you are waiting for a response from your supplier when you don't tell me that. I appreciate we are living in uncertain times but I placed the order in good faith, the order was duly acknowledged and I even received an e-mail saying that the order was being dispatched ...which it never was. I think you would have been better off merely apolgising for your poor service and not attempting to justify it.

I was sceptical at first but the trains came in immaculate condition. I was also very pleased with their responsive and professional customer service. I would strongly recommend Railway Model Store to anyone looking for a reliable online shop with variety of products. A*!

Oct 12,2020Took my money the minute I placed an order for an item shown online as in stock. A month later, when I rang to find out when I would receive it, I was told that the item was not in stock and they were awaiting a delivery from Hornby. I had to demand my money back, they did not offer it. Would give them no stars if I could.
