Alex at Revilo was reliable, friendly, efficient and timely. The sale of our car was handled seamlessly and with no hassle or upsets. As a first-time user of their services I can recommend them to others. David of Durham
Great service from start to finish. Thank you Alex. Would highly recommend for totally stress free sale of car.
I put my van on the market and was contacted by Ben at Revillo. The dealings were polite on time and caring . Collection was prompt . Very happy .
After being messed about by other companies I was getting very stressed over selling my end of lease van. I opted to sell on their behalf. Adam called me last Monday afternoon and offered the price I wanted on Autotrader. He did all the dealings with the Lease company very quickly. Thursday afternoon my van was collected by Rob. Lease Company settled. I cannot thank you enough for making this process so easy.
Smooth process from negotiating a price to collection. Alex was a pleasure to deal with
Probably a little over cautious on my part, but turned out really well in the end. Agreed a value over the phone with Kris. I gave a honest evaluation of my car. Agreed a time and collection of my car and Dave came and checked the vehicle over. Waited for money to clear and everything went smooth. Yes I would recommend Revilo automotive to purchase your car friendly staff fast efficient payment what’s not to like.
Advertised my van on Autotrader, I had a number of interested buyers each offering to purchase the van, none of which materialised.. I had a couple of trade buyers that didn't ring me back either.. Adam from Revilo Automotive rang me with an offer which i refused then he rang me with a higher price... I agree it was below my initial asking price but it was a fair price. Given the market and the confusion over pricing vehicles currently i am happy with the deal we did.. Adam was always polite and clearly stated that he was a trade buyer, kept me up to date with what was going to happen next and sure enough everything has gone exactly how he said it would...
Advertised my car on Auto Trader, Then Received a call from Ellie at Revilo, she asked a few questions about the car and the explained who she was working on behalf which I had no Problem with as it was explained well. Had a call back from Tim with an offer which i was happy with. the transaction went through within a day of agreeing the sale. then Dave the driver turned up to collect the car as agreed in a very professional manor! A please to deal with. Thanks
Jenson and team were super efficient, great on contact and communication. Always clear as to next steps making it very easy to do business. And their quotes were competitive.
I agree with BlueSky... After advertising my car on AutoTrader, REVILO contacted me not identifying themselves as as company (using the autotrader call system and coming through with what appears to be a personal mobile number). The whole phone call is conducted as if they are a private buyer - when in fact they are a trader. This is only made clear on further questioning (I was surprised at the amount of "corporate" questions the "buyer" had suggesting someone was reading off a questionnaire - and this made me wonder whether "Alexandra" was actually not intending to buy the car for herself.). My car was advertised for £19,900 (a reasonable private market price). To then get back to me with a price of £16,750 is frankly a waste of my and their time and well below even part-exchange offers. It would be professional courtesy to clarify from the outset that you are not a private buyer but a trader and that you are offering trade and not private prices. In response to Revilo's reply: You are missing the point. This isn't about the money (I get that you would pay less than a private buyer). It is about professionalism and pretence. On a different note, the fairly aggressive way your team responds to the feedback left here by me and others speaks volume and shows a degree of lack of insight and preparedness to take criticism on the chin. If my rating hadn't been one star already, it would be now.
I'd never heard of Revilo, until they called having scavenged on Auto Trader! Just like many of the other negative reviews here this company uses Auto Trader to find a car, then call the owner. ''Hello, I'm calling about the car you have listed on Auto Trader, how are you today?'' Being savvy to this kind of menace, I said, ''Fine, are you a car dealer?’' Jack had to admit he was! I said, ''I am not about to get into a debate about the price of my car, the valuation is accurate, if you can't get close then stop!’’ I told him I was in the trade and know how it works. I said, ‘’You will make the right noises, get me on board, promise a call back and offer me £1,000 less!'' His act was to deny the truth, assure me he wouldn’t and said, quote, ‘’If I can get close, I will call you back’’. Then, as I knew, a phone call, and this time from Tom, with, more over familiarity (a sales trick to make the potential customer feel befriended) and said, ‘’We have come up with the best price for your car’’, then risibly waffling on about ‘’Uniformed collection’’ and ‘’Instant payment’’, blah, blah, blah! I knew what was coming, having worked in the motor trade, and in sales, and knowing how these discount car buyers work! ‘’We have a firm offer of £14,000 for the car’’. I said, ''Do you want me to laugh or hang up?'' I told him he was the lowest of all valuations. Questioning how he could be so low, when I had an offer of £15,860 from Evans Halshaw, with five others of £15,000 plus, for an 18 month old, 3,000 mile, immaculate, 70 plate Fiesta ST Line Edition! He began to lie about data (his data) 'We buy thousands of cars & we have thousands of satisfied customers...'', to which I replied, ''Well, I feel sorry for them, as they do not know or understand the motor industry! You prey on them, offer the lowest amount & take advantage of their ignorance! And I told your colleague NOT to phone me with an offer, unless close to the advertised price!’’ I hung up. This is a stark warning, so be careful anyone reading this; they pretend to be members of the public. They call on mobile phones. They use the common sales tactic, which is fake befriendment in call one, then continued friendship in call two, with the ‘’Very best price’’, and fake statistics to soothe the blow of low! It is hilarious that they think ''uniformed collection'' & ''instant payment'' are pitches worth repeating, as faster payment is common and all collection drivers wear some kind of branding! Maybe they think a uniform whilst keeping £2,000 of your money is soothing?! My advice: don't sell to them! Use Auto Trader for your free, current market valuation. It is based on CAP, the industry guide. Use them to see how much main dealers are selling your equivalent for; they operate on a 10-15% margin, hence my car at £16,000 being correct, as they would sell for £17,800! NOT £14,000 as offered by Revilo! Motorway & Car Wow offer a no-fee valuation & sales platform, taking a fee if the car sells from the buyer and will often achieve high prices. My Reply to Revilo: Totally transparent in their replies, and as all can see they are on the attack, just as they have been with every negative review left! They claim my review should not be here, not conducting a transaction? Wrong! This platform is for reviews about all aspects of a company's business practices. It is clear that over 55% of Trust Pilot’s reviewers are unhappy. Revilo keep pushing Feefo and ‘their’ amazing reviews being 98%. Feefo is a paid for service serving companies. Rarely do they publish a negative review. Feefo, on Trust Pilot, has 84% negative reviews, and Revilo chooses which reviews it publishes on its site! Next, they claim inaccuracy in my review, when my review is based on fact, personal experience, and accurate data. They use their own data and figures, NOT current market place figures. They claim to assess each car, the market etc. They assess profit only; fact! And again, hilariously, they suggest me leaving this review is like a 1* review on Trip Advisor for a hotel I have not stayed in! Idiocy! Wrong! This review is based business practice, since 50% of their business is finding the cars, thus everyone should be able to comment on their behaviour! In their attacking replies to me, I see they have done the same to every others. Bully tactics! They seem to think editing is worth attacking, editing is only to create space! Morons! Everyone can see how this lot operate; attack replies! I hope Trading Standards come across them soon. I know the motor trade & telesales. My advice to all, this is the bad side of the motor industry. Go to the good, save yourselves £2,000/£4,000 maybe more! Trading Standards ARE via Citizen's Advice! YOU LOVE uniforms! Feefo: 84% negative reviews as fakes! Thus, fake reviews are Revilo! Car sold: £15,800, £1,800 saved from these phonies! Bye!
Contacted by revilo today in regards to my vehicle for sale on auto trader, bearing in mind it is the cheapest one for sale that age and mileage, they eventually came back rather proud of themselves and grandly proceeded to offer me £3240 less than my asking price, confirming they thought this was a good offer. Well I beg to differ, they even had the bare faced cheek to assure me there would be no fees involved!! Are they serious, if I wanted to sell to the trade I have already been offered way more than they did,all I can say is if you deal with these guys it will cost you dearly,I look forward to your response, bearing in mind this is totally factually correct,if you disagree you are welcome to listen to a recording of the call if you wish.
Car advertised on Autotrader and had a call from Revilo. They asked a few basic questions and then said someone else would call to make an offer. After a couple of days I chased this and got a call back with an offer. Did some negotiation and we came to an agreement. Pickup took an hour to check over the car and get lots of pictures but had no problems. I was meticulous with my description of the car and therefore all was well. Payment arrived instantly. Very approachable, good communication and a great result.
Advertised on Autotrader, Ben (Revilo) rang immediately. I tell him the price I want and not to bother wasting my time with a lower offer. An hour later, his mate rings with an offer more than £3k lower. Complete time wasters and chancers. If REVILO rings you, I suggest you put the phone down pronto and enjoy the rest of the day
The initial call from Adam for my advertised car was ok however it felt very pushy to get me to go ahead which put me off. However after some convincing of what would seems a good service Adam passed me To Ben.. In the end we agreed to go ahead at 21k , I signed the contract agreement , shared personal data s & then called them to advise the reg plates were now on retention and car was ready to go. Then in the final minute after discussing collection next steps I get a unceremonious call back off Ben saying Revilo are retracting the offer I signed for and will now offer 19.5k. Wow ! How is low balling the “signed amount of 21k & after me doing all ground work good for the brand???? What a completely shocking approach, I was fuming as this has been going on for 2 weeks prior. Ben had every opportunity to retract the offer much sooner and the reasons for it were questionable. Obviously I put the car straight back on auto trader , and guess who called me within an hour !!! Revilo !!!! Seriously !? In the end I sold my car to a reputable dealer via autotrader for £21k with no hassles which also backed up Ben’s excuses to drop the price to £19.5k was nothing less than nonsense. I am sure this process works for many sellers but based on my experience, never again !!
Placed add on AutoTrader and had a call from Revilo. Offered a price, negotiated, happy with the result. The transaction was open and professional throughout, outstanding payment to finance company taken care of and payment checked by myself before release of vehicle. Collection driver, Tim, was patient and polite even though I made him wait whilst checking payments, thanks Tim! Highly recommend Revilo as an easy, safe, professional method of selling your vehicle
Great company to deal with. Nice people. Fair prices offered and honourable in their dealings. Made doing business very easy. Highly recommended.
Excellent. Got what I was offered (and wanted) for my car. I took it to the offices rather than someone come out - great and courteous service with money in my bank account whilst I waited.
Right, where should I start? I placed my van on Autotrader, and within 24 hours, I had a call regarding buying it. Now the bloke who was calling, didn't make himself known as a business, (they even use mobile phones to hide the fact), was pretending to be an average buyer, asking the usual questions. Due to selling a few vehicles in the past, I'm used to these calls, so listen out for background noise. I could hear an "office" environment, so was suspicious. So after pretending to be your average buyer for some time, he dropped in at the end, he was part of a company that buys vehicles for the trade, and was very interested in my van, and "the price looks good". So he would go away and check the market values and get back to me. So he had my back up right off the bat, by not being upfront about who he was and what his intentions were. So my vehicle retails at between £6000 + VAT up to over £7000 + VAT. My van has had new CAT1 alarm, thatcham approved deadlocks and aluminium roof bars, all brand new and costing over £700. I got a trade in price and WBAC price, both £5500. So I put my car on Autotrader at £6195, looking to get close to £6000. The VAT has been paid. Anyway, after the weekend, got a call back from these people, he did give his name on both occasions, but due to my lack of interest, I didn't bother remembering it. So the price they offer is £4600. The funniest thing was, he was saying it, like it was fantastic and doing me a favour. He told me WBAC's price was £5100 (this is the extent of their stupidity!! If I can go and offload it at WBAC for £5100, why would I sell to you for £500 less???), so theres £100 in it for him and £400 in it for the trader they sell to. So all I'm going to say regarding this, they try to deceive you, right from the get go, by not being upfront about who they are. Then they clearly lie about the WBAC price, even though they didn't have my reg, but I suppose you can get a quote without it. Bear face lying about only making £100 for themselves. WeBuyAnyCar are well known for offering low prices for your vehicle, but at least it's a place you can go, if you want rid quickly. These guys actually seek you out, when 24 hours after you pay for 6 weeks advertising on Autotrader. Not only that, they come back with a price £900 lower than WBAC and the 3 places I got a trade in price. This company can only be described as vultures. Yes you're going to read this, yes you're going to know who I am, yes you're going to leave a reply, trying to relinquish your shady business practices. So people, if you get a call off these guys, when they do eventually inform you, whom they are, just hang up.

Jun 11,2022From the first phone call from The lovely Alex, to the car being picked up by Michael ( I believe) they was very efficient, professional and polite. Would definitely recommend, the offer they made for my car was very good.
