Robinson's Shoemakers is one of Ireland's most prestigious gentlemen's shoe companies offering bespoke shoemaking, traditional English footwear brands, a repair service and Robinson's own brand of off the shelf hand-made shoes.
Established Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland in 1954 by William & Annie Robinson as a local leather workshop and traditional cobbler, Robinson's has been at the centre of Carrickfergus for over 60 years. Now a third generation family business the company continues to grow from strength to strength offering expertise in all things shoe related not just locally but across the world.
In an ever faster paced world, were things rarely stay the same for long, it is refreshing to sometimes stop and to think at how things used to be done. Jan 18,2016Bought a pair of loaded over Xmas. Paid on 28th Decemeber. Informed on 4th January they were out of stock. Asked for a refund on 5th January. As of today 18th January I still have not had my refund. They owe me close to £200. When they answer the phone they promise me it's being done. Am now forced to take legal action. Avoid like the plague.

Jan 18,2016I ordered and paid for my shoes on 2nd Jan, only to be advised on 11th they were discontinued and no longer available, I didn't think this was possible with an online ordering system? In requesting a refund (as opposed to ordering an alternative style) by return, Its now the 18th and no refund has been received, so It will be 3 weeks or very close to that I have remained out of pocket. A bit disappointing, it won't stop me from purchasing from Robinsons in the future though.

While my initial order was delayed due to a lack of stock Robinson's Customer Service's dept kept me up to date with the progress of my order. When stock did become available it was dispatched without delay and I promptly took delivery of my shoes the following day. Overall, 100% satisfied with the service and quality of product provided by Robinson's; I will return to them again and will without hesitation be recommending them to others.

Jan 14,2016I was fortunate to stumble across this company a few years ago. Service is outstanding. Never a problem with delivery to the US. Prices very reasonable. Best thing however is their own in-house line of handmade brogues. Best shoes I have ever had. No question.

Jan 13,2016placed an order on 28th December and paid via paypal. Web site showed my size in stock and took my payment in full. They Emailed me on 4th January saying they had no stock. I requested a full refund. They seem to take 4 days to respond to emails Now January 12th still no refund. Would I use again no chance Refund received Today 13th January.
