Robinson's Shoemakers is one of Ireland's most prestigious gentlemen's shoe companies offering bespoke shoemaking, traditional English footwear brands, a repair service and Robinson's own brand of off the shelf hand-made shoes.
Established Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland in 1954 by William & Annie Robinson as a local leather workshop and traditional cobbler, Robinson's has been at the centre of Carrickfergus for over 60 years. Now a third generation family business the company continues to grow from strength to strength offering expertise in all things shoe related not just locally but across the world.

Jan 11,2016Having ordered Loake shoes on line through Robinson's I was told they were now discontinued but had paid for the shoes. I was offered to choose a different product which I requested based on a similar deal and While I have had to wait for a resolution this has now been addressed, happy with the offer and the deal on a different product.

Jan 07,2016I am waiting on a pair of Loake Hyde boots. I rang and was told they would be a week before they were with me. Then then received a response to an earlier email I sent saying they had no stock of the boots and it would be 2-3 weeks. I went onto the site and they are still in stock according to that. I sent this in a reply but have still not heard back on this. I understand it's after Christmas but I'm getting a lot of mixed messages for an expensive lair of boots edit:my issues were resolved and the hold up was due to the backlog of orders over xmas. The support team have been very helpful with the resolution of the order and i am now expecting the new boots at the end of this week.

Jan 04,2016I purchased a pair of shoes on the 9th Dec, I then heard nothing from Robinson's until the 14th Dec when they emailed me to say that despite the item being listed as in stock on their website it was actually a discontinued product. I requested a refund on the day (14th Dec) and was told I would receive it within a few days. To this day (4th Jan) I am still waiting, I understand Christmas is a busy period but a refund shouldn't take this long to be processed.
