Robinson's Shoemakers is one of Ireland's most prestigious gentlemen's shoe companies offering bespoke shoemaking, traditional English footwear brands, a repair service and Robinson's own brand of off the shelf hand-made shoes.
Established Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland in 1954 by William & Annie Robinson as a local leather workshop and traditional cobbler, Robinson's has been at the centre of Carrickfergus for over 60 years. Now a third generation family business the company continues to grow from strength to strength offering expertise in all things shoe related not just locally but across the world.
In an ever faster paced world, were things rarely stay the same for long, it is refreshing to sometimes stop and to think at how things used to be done. Oct 18,2015Having contacted the office over the weekend of 10/11th October I was assured that someone would call me on the working day to advice re. Sizing. No call was received until 16th October when I felt compelled to return the goods. Disappointing and let down .

Oct 16,2015This is my first purchase from Robinson's and I must say that It am most impressed by the ease of ordering from the selection all the ay to the payment. All I had to do after that was to sit back and relax and my brand new shoes arrived in no time at all. They were in perfect condition and exactly what I had ordered. It was also most comforting to find a "return" form attached to the delivery. Not that I needed it but it was most reassuring as it meant that Robinson's were prepared to stand by their product. With such an excellent experience, it is hard not to return, soon enough.

Oct 16,2015The product I ordered, though shown as available, was actually out of stock. My card was charged immediately nonetheless, and although I said I was prepared to wait I still have not received my goods after 2 weeks and I'm the meantime been asked to provide a review of the service!

Nov 01,2015Although the response rate is not speedy, around 1-2 days to response. But the package arrives in good condition, and I received a free pair of socks for my first ever purchase from Robinson's Shoes. Will purchase my next pair of shoes there in future too! :)
