I've been landscaping for over 25 years and by far the worse quality of turf used is Rowlawn Medallion. Contacted customer service, never even had a response. Avoid Avoid Avoid

Please stop and read. I spent a small fortune on having my garden landscaped over a 6 week period. Carted away 6+ tones of soil just in one area of the garden. The whole idea was to replace the Turf with rolawn quality turf. However when the turf showed up, it was completely yellow. Yellow like hay. For all intent purposes the grass is dead and the rolls fell apart in our hands. So we called Rolawn and they advised that we lay the turf anyway and that customer services the next week would either refund us or send us replacements which had been properly checked for quality as they state on their website. From the customer service team on the Tuesday, they offered to refund us for 1 single lawn roll. Just 1! It was adding insult to injury. Now I have to pay the landscaper to remove the turf and dispose of it as all the dead grass is blowing all over the yard like tumbleweeds. -5 Stars for you Rolawn!

I ordered 2 bulk bags of Beds and Borders Topsoil and it was delivered on the day agreed. I am no Monty Don but the quality of the topsoil seems quite good. No stones, so it is definitely sieved - time will tell on the nutrient levels. I will add more organic matter as a precaution! Overall - very satisfied.

Ordered a bulk bag of bark mulch. The service was absolutely flawless. Delivered exactly when they said they would (despite torrential rain) and the product is great quality. Would not hesitate to use this company again.

I ordered from Rolawn as I have used their turf from a stockist and found it to be good quality- however the service when ordering from their site was abysmal. Turf was supposed to arrive on Thursday the 3rd of June so I had prepared a customers ground ready. I phoned the company about 4 times during the day to make sure everything was ok to which they assured me it was out for delivery between 6am-8pm and was fine. By 6.15 pm I phoned the out of hours who informared me the delivery had failed and they would try again the next day. However this was no good for me as I could not be at the job the next day, so I asked them to send a new lot in for the following Monday- but they could not do this and the customer service advisor said and I quote 'You may be better off finding the turf elsewhere', to which I did and cancelled my order and I am currently awaiting a refund. Totally uninterested in the customer and for responsibility. I understand things happen, but over the entire 10 hour period surely someone could have contacted to let me know it wasnt coming so I could have acted appropriately at the job.

I laid a new lawn last July and the quality of the lawn it has produced this Spring is really poor, lots of rye grass and meadow grass which makes the lawn look very patchy lots of pale green areas and if you don’t mow every couple of days it is covered in seed heads from the meadow grass. I contacted customer service by email 4 weeks ago and am still awaiting a reply, so phoned as told they were dealing with my complaint and I would definitely hear by last Friday surprisingly I am still waiting

Ordered lawn top soil 3 weeks ago (£120), so far the delivery has been cancelled twice. We were supposed to do the lawn this week end! Really poor customer service. They claim to be specialist but I am not convinced yet! Would not recommend as deliveries seem very sketchy and unreliable.

be aware people i paid for top quality soil and it’s all pebbles and stones all over my garden and the soul kills all my exciting plants and it’s 70% stones and less than 30% very bad quality soil , my garden is like concrete not soil , i add some of soil to my indoor plants and kills it right away after few years i look after it , very very disappointed, customer service is waste of time also they saying their soil has to have stones up to 20mm , what the hell , my garden is full of stones up to 60mm and already emailed them the photos, but still they do nothings i have to instruct solicitor

I was very dispointed with the quality and the way it had been stacked on the delivery palet. The soil and very thin and poor quailty. The bottom rolls and side rolld were all damaged so take a long time to patch the holes. I contacted their customer service and a Mrs Sarah Milburn stated that they had have bad weather so it seems they send out the turf in what very condition it is. I will buy turf locally next time

My order for a bag of topsoil did not turn up on the day stated. Customer services phoned to say sorry bag was left in Birmingham. I said I needed that day so it was agreed order could be cancelled. 22 days later and numerous phone calls I am still waiting for refund. Shocking service! Rolawn get your act together and give me my money back! UPDATE: finally received my refund after yet more phone calls. It took 30 days to receive credit!

Paid the extra £10 for delivery before 1pm. Now 4:17pm and still waiting. Last time I tried to call gave up after almost an hour of waiting for somebody to pick up... going to be fun trying to get my money back. Heed the warnings on here (I wish I had).

Terrible! I ordered a bulk bag of topsoil. A day or so before delivery, Rolawn phoned me to say they couldn’t deliver to my property due to ‘logistics / access issues’ (note, I have had similar deliveries before and since from other companies with no problems at all). Having cancelled my delivery, they advised me they would immediately refund. Guess what, weeks later, no sign of my money back. No replies to emails, no one answering phones! So I messaged them through PayPal, again no response. Eventually I raised a PayPal claim. Rolawn seem to have not even replied to PayPal as I have received a refund from PP instead. I wish I had fully read the reviews for this company. I will never use them again.

Where do i start ,000000 feedback Completely disgusted with this company . Wasted hours on numerous occasions waiting for a promised delivery of top soil . Then to be told 2 days later they had a signature from me and item was delivered . I quoted him on his lies about the so called tracking they had on there vehicles .He then went quiet trying to think of another lie he would try and fob me off with. BE PREPARED FOR LOTS OF LIES , NON DELIVERY OF GOODS .

If only I could give zero stars I ordered direct rather than through a local stockist. So far only half the soil has been delivered (a day late) and six days later I am still waiting to find out when the rest will arrive. Each day I have had to phone them for an update and requested a call back. So far I have had no contact. They are blaming the delivery company / Covid but this does not explain why they are not calling back.

I paid extra for an AM delivery on Friday to topdress a lawn for a customer. I chased the delivery Friday pm , took ten minutes for someone to answer and was told someone would call back , never did , called again and waited another ten minutes to be told that it had been left off the lorry because of a mix up and it wouldn’t be arriving at all . No one called to say it would not be arriving, I sat around waiting for a non existent delivery which they knew was not going to arrive . I was offered a refund which I accepted and bought the topdressing from a garden centre to complete the work for the customer. He has just called me to say that the soil has been left blocking his driveway today , Monday, three days late even after the delivery was cancelled. He is so cross and so am I , terrible service. It’s in a one tonne bag and I have no means of moving it and I’m sure it will be a mission now for them to remove it . 😡

Purchased Veg and Fruit Topsoil bulk bag. Absolutely wowed by the quality of the soil 2 stones in the entire bag! no junk or rubbish. Shoveled every barrow load myself and raked it out. Use No Dig garden method so have bought all manner of compost and soil. And this order was by far the best.

Well I guess I should have read the reviews first. I'd say my experience to date mirrors those below - no product, no communication and little urgency in trying to resolve anything when I call them (once they get round to answering the phone). Surprised they still have a business if this is the norm in terms of service.

Ordered large bag of top soil for a project, no confirmation email, but they took the money! no update on delivery, had to call and email 8 times for one reply, told it would be delivered on 1st April, cancelled other work to receive it, never showed, now the 6th no soil, no email, no one answering the phone, STAY CLEAR of this company, am considering legal action to recover costs

No And I had no issues with the previous lawn, so I feel the issue is with the new turf supplied by Rolawn I’m sorry to have to ask for more information but this is very much a process of elimination at this stage. 31/03/2021 After looking at feedback re Rowland online I think I need a price to replace the Lawn I do not hold out much hope re any assistants except a lot of hot air talk is cheap it doesn’t replace diseased Turf. I would want it supplied from another turf supplier Kind regards Mark 02/04/2021As you thought Rolawn wouldn’t except liability for the dead turf.To take up the old stuff and lay new from another company, you would be looking at around £300 + vat but like I said, I’m so busy, I will struggle to get there this year!
