I'm always looking forward to the next shipping as soon as one arrives. They send you exciting wines, with a ton of useful information in the accompanying videos. I keep recommending it to all my friends, sommeliers, and others.
Love the variety and quality of the wine. The communication is excellent. And it makes me feel connected to one of my favorite places in Rome.
Nowhere in the world has more variety in wine than Italy. But there are two sides to Italian wine: internationally-styled wine made by large conglomerates that could be from anywhere, and the genuine, traditional wines that have been made in the small towns and regions of Italy for generations. It is the first category that is mostly exported, but it is the second category that makes Italy so interesting for the wine lover. But it is tough to navigate all this variety--there are nearly 1400 different varieties used to make wine in Italy. This is where the Roscioli Wine Club really shines. Alessandro, Lindsay and their team have an unmatched enthusiasm for the people and traditions of Italian wine and they are able to find and share some of the best examples of traditionally made wine from the corners of Italy that even devoted wine enthusiasts don't usually get to see. They are also wonderful people. We travel to Italy frequently and have spent short periods living in both Florence and Rome. Roscioli and its various satellites have been Rome favorites of ours for a long time. Jan met Alessandro and Lindsay when she and a group of friends attended one of Rimessa's wine tasting dinners. A few weeks later, I arrived in Rome for a short vacation and we had a late dinner at Rimessa. A few people have commented on how Alessandra and Lindsay make you feel like family. I can't second this strongly enough. This was like dining with friends at home. We ended up staying late into the night having spirited discussions about wine and American politics. Alessandro does what I do at home. Once we started talking about wine, he kept going back into the cellar opening and sharing his newest discoveries. (Hint, if you think Vino Nobile is boring, try some Contucci.) It was a magical night we'll never forget. Keep up the good work, guys!
My partner and I visited Rimessa Roscioli on our first, but definitely not last, trip to Italy just before the pandemic began. It was undoubtedly one of the best meals of the trip, especially for the wines we sampled - they really spoke to me. Imagine my excitement to learn that they offer a wine club! We signed up shortly after returning home and will not be stopping any time soon. The two boxes we receive are the oenological highlights of our year. I honestly can't recall a single one I disliked, and the focus on small producers using natural methods means each wine is unique in the best way. I look forward to the stories and places behind the wines just as much, and the companion material never disappoints. Often I plan meals around these wines! Alessandro, Lindsey, and the team have not let us down yet, I trust their picks completely. The customer service is top notch and everyone has been incredibly engaging, thoughtful, and enthusiastic about what they do. Definitely connect on the community.wine platform. We can't wait to visit in person soon, but with the wine club, the wait is bearable!
Being a 2 year member and living in Hawaii, shipping always puts a big damper on online wine purchases. However, Roscioli comes through with flying colors with the most reasonable shipping costs I have ever seen coming out of Europe. Their wines are spectacular and come from all regions of Italy. I love stumping my cousins that live in Italy when I send them pictures of the wines Roscioli sends because even they have never seen them before or can never get the chance to purchase them.
There's no point in joining any other wine club. It doesn't get any better than this.
The combination of quality and pricing makes for great value. The selection is very carefully chosen and there's a real diversity of styles and regions. Shipping is always reliable and incredibly well packed. Some of these wines you won't find for sale where you live, but that just makes the twice yearly shipment even more enjoyable. And we love the olive oil gifts!
Having enjoyed Salumeria Roscioli during our visits to Roma over the years, we were both intrigued by their new Wine Club and looking for ways to support the survival of Italian businesses that we loved during this challenging period of time. We joined the Wine Club for fun, but what we received was far more than that. The wines were far better than we'd even hoped and Roscioli did a tremendous job with their communications - educating us about the winemakers and these wines. We have learned much, discovered new varietals and wine regions, and feel ever more connected to Italia. We live near the Napa and Sonoma Valleys - home to some amazing wines...but what we get really excited for is our bi-annual shipments from Roscioli Wine Club.
Roscioli Wine Club and the entire Roscioli team are amazing! The club ships delicious Italian wines you cannot buy anywhere in the US, accompanied by complete tasting notes and videos, suggested food pairings and education about the local wine producers and terroir. They also throw in local treats like small batch olive oil & balsamic vinegars. A little slice of Italy, delivered to your door twice a year. All this at a very reasonable price too. Lindsey & Alessandro know their stuff when it comes to wine! Highly recommend.
Like many of the reviewers, I signed up after a wonderful wine dinner at Roscioli and at the time, I did wonder if I'd really enjoy it as much as our dinner experience. Well, 2 years later, we are very happy customers and look forward to our shipments. My problem is that I can't remember what I enjoyed the most and have to go back into their excellent tasting notes to jot down the wine for the future. I am happy to recommend the wine club wholeheartedly!
What can I say, this by far is my favorite wine club and I have 3. We look forward to every shipment and are excited for the unique wines that never disappoint. I love that you are not getting your standard red cab or white sauvignon but getting to try new wines that are not very common or at least common to get outside of Italy. With every shipment there is also samples of olive oil or balsamic vinegars which are excellent. I recommend this wine club to all my friends that enjoy Italian wines!
We are thrilled with our membership in the Roscioli Wine Club. We joined in 2018 shortly after returning from a trip to Italy, including a wonderful dinner at Roscioli. The team at Roscioli makes you feel like part of their family, whether through their one-on-one communications, their virtual wine tastings or the wine courses and community they have created through the club. We are so happy to be able to support a small business like theirs and the small vineyards that produce the wines that become part of the club selections. With so many Italian wines on the market, we have appreciated the chance to try small batch productions (which we would be unlikely to find in the US) selected by the Roscioli team that truly knows what they are doing and cares about the wine. Through the beautiful videos and written materials provided to club members, we have enjoyed learning more about Italian wines, the winemaking process and the families who produce these wines. We look forward to being members for many years to come, and we can’t wait to return to Roscioli for an in-person tasting and outstanding meal.
My son and his wife ran across Roscioli Wine while in Rome a few years ago. They shared a few bottles with us during our visit to their new home. We loved it. We joined based on their experience and our experience has been just as wonderful. Besides the excellent wines, when we've had occasion to communicate with them via email and phone, they make us feel like family and are always eager to give that extra bit that makes you feel so good about them. I really love the special little treats we find in each shipment. They always go a step further for you.
Roscioli Wine Club is fabulous. These are wonderful people running a business that provides a great product. We love getting wines from small, natural producers that you are very unlikely to otherwise find in the US along with the videos and tasting notes that help us understand what we are drinking -- not only the grapes, but the place where they are grown and the people who make the wine.
I came upon Roscioli on a wine tasting in Rome, and fell in love with the business Lindsey and team have built. The wine club is the definition of Italian hospitality - there's always a tasting counter in Rome to call home, and the wines they send us are always small batch mom and pop vineyards that I love to support. I've loved every wine we've received, and will always be a member. Highly recommend.
Have been a member of their wine club for a couple of years now ever since visiting them in Rome. After a few months on Tier 1, we upgraded to Tier 2. The wines are always spectacular and, just as importantly, interesting and often a little quirky. Amazing customer service too; we live in Gibraltar where it’s often difficult to ship to but their team assured us they would find a way and they have never failed!
I joined this wine club 2 years ago on my first trip to Italy. I love it because I get a great variety of wines to try with videos about each one. My family and friends also look forward to each shipment as they get to try new varietals too. The wines are all exceptional and well worth the price.
I met Allesandro and Lindsay at a dinner party at my dear friends Remy’s invitation. I am in the wine business as have access to plenty of amazing wines local and imported. I was so impressed with the cheese pairings Alessandro presented that I joined the club before we ate dinner. It’s the first and only wine club I have ever been in. That may sound strange but I sell wine for a living and I don’t need to be in a club. This is special. This I really enjoy.
In Italy Roscioli is most highly respected in the wine and culinary arenas. For those of us fortunate to have experienced their enterprises firsthand in Roma, we know we’ve found the true connoisseurs in the industry. At the local ristorante one is surrounded by shelves of glorious bottles and the savvy knowledgeable staffers have a wealth of wine knowledge to enthusiastically share. The goods news is the ability to have a piece of this paradise in your home overseas. While currently impossible to travel abroad, how wonderful receiving hand picked cases of “paradise,” more than well worth the investment.

Mar 08,2021If you love wine and/or are interested in learning about wine, you will love this wine club! I’ve been a member for 1.5 years and everything they’ve sent has been AMAZING! The club also teaches you about the winery where the grapes are grown and the food pairing so you can best enjoy the flavor of the wine. It’s also very reasonably priced. Seriously, join this wine club!
