The two members of Lidl's staff who assaulted me were prepared to lie on the stand and the judge took their word against mine. I did walk away with no costs to myself however as promised by Ross Aldridge. Thanks for all your help. I wouldn't hesitate to call you again if needed.

Dec 17,2021Feedback on Ross Aldridge Solicitors Ltd This is a 5-star practice. I recommend them unreservedly. Daniel Menell has been an absolute star. He has such determination to see fair play and this underlines all that he does. Total honesty, empathy, integrity, diligence and a passion to see things through to a positive outcome wherever possible are the trademarks of his work. In 2018 I was unfortunate enough to be burdened with a huge and mounting legal debt because of another solicitor’s poor practice. I needed not just a good solicitor but an excellent one to prove that I was not responsible for a large bill with daily interest accruing and to prevent me from having to repay the debt. Daniel Menell, a director at Ross Aldridge Ltd took on the case. The service I received from Daniel has been incredible. Daniel is a solicitor of the highest calibre adhering closely to the codes of conduct for his profession and exhibiting all the requisite behaviours. He ensured clarity about the service that Ross Aldridge Ltd was offering and the options available to me. Daniel sets and demonstrates exacting standards in all his dealings. He has huge integrity, upholding the proper administration of justice and regaining my trust and confidence in the solicitor’s profession. Over the course of three years, Daniel has doggedly analysed endless pieces of evidence, trawling through emails and letters to identify and raise pertinent issues, even staying up all night to ensure nothing was missed in the piles of evidence before him. Throughout all this time when I have been at my absolute lowest through having cancer combined with serious personal issues and with the alarming financial position I was placed in by the other solicitor, Daniel had a positive, enthusiastic outlook. When he was unsure of a matter of law, he was quick to seek advice from other professionals to enable secure decision making. His communication skills are hallmarked by being succinct, using accurate language and no technical jargon enabling full understanding. When there were issues arising that required discussion these were managed in a timely manner. If an issue required an urgent response Daniel would use an appropriate form of contact, including text messages to arrange a phone call. Updates were regularly emailed to ensure that I was kept fully informed on the progress of the case. Communication from the defendant and letters sent on my behalf were all copied to me conscientiously. Daniel’s ability to interpret and evaluate all the information obtained is excellent. He is extremely diligent. His ability to keep account of and remind others of their deadlines is impressive. He has conducted himself with complete honesty and transparency always ensuring his actions were in my best interest. You can rely on Daniel to treat clients with courtesy and respect. He is also able to impart difficult or unwelcome news clearly and sensitively. The pressure and stress of this case combined with other factors meant that there were times when I was close to surrendering to this whole sorry situation and accepting partial defeat. It would have left me with a large burden of debt and through no fault of my own. Daniel never once tried to influence my thoughts or apply any pressure to continue. He is adept at recognising the vulnerabilities of his clients and has enormous empathy. His sense of fair play and of what is right is a strength and drives his passion to achieve the right outcome. He supported me in such a capable and competent way, presenting a strong defence that enabled me to have complete trust in his judgement to continue. The outcome of this case has been a successful settlement in my favour. A tremendous achievement. This has been solely due to the valiant efforts of Daniel Menell To have achieved this positive outcome is amazing but even more so given that it has taken place with no face-to-face meetings due to my personal circumstance and the pandemic. After a three-year battle, the debt is settled thanks to the work of this practice. I cannot recommend Ross Aldridge Ltd and Daniel Menell highly enough.

Dec 05,2020Really good firm to deal with, had hospital negligence and dealt with Daniel from the firm, he was really helpful in the process and kept me updated throughout the claim, even chased the opposition up before I emailed and I got a response promptly from Daniel before I even had to asked and when he was off on lave he still replied, couldn’t done enough more than what he did I would definitely recommend him to anyone family and friends
