Jun 24,2021Was very happy with the quality of the Essex white cabinets we purchased. They arrived within a week. One cabinet was missing but RTA Wood Cabinets shipped a replacement ASAP. JSI is the manufacturer of these cabinets. RTA Wood Cabinets had considerably lower prices than other distributors selling the same product. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking to go RTA.

Jun 22,2021Chose RTA cabinets not only for the price but also for storage convenience. We will be slowly taking on this project while we work full-time jobs, care for two young children and need a functioning kitchen. But so far the cabinet assembly has been easy and we have installed the uppers and they look great. The quality has been excellent and we are very pleased.

May 17,2021i ordered a sample door. The customer service is excellent, they have free kitchen design service. The quality and color of blue stained door was very good.i ended up going with a local cabinet maker, so i can’t comment further.

May 16,2021Extremely poor quality cabinets. The drawers, doors and hinges are acceptable, but the boxes and finish....absolute garbage. Probably fine if you're looking for something to install in a low budget rental property; however, if you're in the market for cabinets for your home, don't waste your money on these.

May 16,2021For the money these are great cabinets. Ive done wood working for years, building furniture etc. I like the fact that all the dadoes, rabbets and holes are drilled for you. I was a UPS driver for 41 years, trust me, these come packaged extremely well. Totally secured with shrink wrap and corner guards on the pallet. I am super picky about quality, finish and how things line up. I can tell when a drawer is 1/16 off horizontally to the one below it. When I put the doors on my sink base, they lined up perfectly both vertically and horizontally. The same with drawers in the other cabinets. And installing the drawer guides could not be easier. Dove tailed joints, soft close doors....I paid $3200 for a 10x12 kitchen. At the big box stores it would have run over $10K and some of those were melamine or chip board boxes. For the money you cant beat the quality. And for those that complain about face frames splitting etc. pre drill the holes. I ran 2.5 inch screws from one face frame to the next with no problem, always pre drill. I also beefed up the corners with 3/4 inch blocks cut on a 45 degree angle and used finish nails and bigger screws than provided. Everything squared up perfectly. Totally happy.

May 14,2021The cabinets are very sturdy. I am very impressed. I ended up ordering extra parts because the website was not super clear as to the fit and finish. So I ordered the extra parts because I figured they would be required. Overall they look great.

May 12,2021My husband and I are very pleased with RTA. We had a few doors that needed replaced and they were here very quickly. We love our cabinets our kitchen looks wonderful. We would recommend RTA wood cabinets very highly. We have friends who are very interested in using them.

May 11,2021I ordered a sample door which came very fast indeed (3 days, even during COVID times!) But the quality of the product was not what I expected. I could see non-stained wood in the corners, likely due to shifting of the inner panel. There were also prominent sanding marks on a couple of spots. Overall the quality was not what I expected. I waited for a promotion at Home Depot and was able to get a higher quality cabinet for the same cost. The cabinets I was looking into were the -reassembled ones, not the RTA.

May 04,2021While we did are own kitchen design we were very happy with the service. Zack called after placing the order with a couple question to make sure we were getting what we needed. Also kept us updated with emails and responded quickly if we had questions. While we had to wait a couple weeks for everything to be in stock, that was fine. The shipping company they hired did a fine job and were wonderful at delivery. Realize RTA does not have much control of that though. We ordered March 2. RTA shipped on April 5th. They were at our house on the 12th. We had no damage in shipping and 1 defective door for 14 cabinets! Zack got our door replaced right away. No issues! Now for the JSI cabinets we got. If you have watched the videos somethings have changed. The corner braces are now plastic. Also predrilling to install soft close drawer hardware is very helpful. If you are not experienced in assembling furniture be cautious in your decision. We felt we received a better cabinet then ready made at the home stores. And a much better price then home store custom cabinets. About half! Overall we like them very much and were worth the money. Since they were cheaper we also got some extras we could never afford at a home store. If you are willing to do some work these are a great value.

Apr 27,2021We are still in the middle of our kitchen reno, but we have had our cabinets delivered and we've assembled them. I wanted to take a moment to write a review. Hope this helps someone else trying to decide if RTA cabinets are right for you. I've wanted to redo our kitchen for 20 years but life doesn't always happen like you plan. Due to significant medical issues for one of our kiddos and the ongoing high medical bills, money is always tight. Recently, we had the opportunity and necessity to finally do this. However, excitement quickly gave way to reality when we started planning/budgeting. We visited multiple local cabinet places and big box stores. We looked at numerous cabinets from buy off the shelf to full custom. The prices were insane. The buy off the shelf were garbage. I had never heard of buying cabinets online, but during our search I realized that these suppliers must be getting them from a designer, why not go to the source? Researching online brought me to a few cabinet designers that people spoke highly of and for a good price. The designer does not sell directly but through authorized vendors. The next best thing was going through an online vendor which cut the cost almost 60% from the big box store quote and around 30% off the local cabinet vendors. After figuring out that not only was it possible to get them online, but we could save even more money by assembling them ourselves, then I just had to narrow the search for a reputable source. I narrowed it down to two based on research I had done. I still didn't quite trust this yet, after all we were still paying a big chunk of money and for us that was huge. So, I called both places. Not only did RTAwoodcabinets answer the phone immediately (a huge plus nowadays with all the automated systems and non-existent customer service), but when I asked if they were legit, lol, Motty answered that plus my plethora of other questions I had throughout that same day and the following days. Always with patience and kindness. And I mean, lots of questions. He knew my number and voice when I called, haha. As a side note: I also called the manufacturer/designer of the cabinets, asked questions and confirmed that RTAwoodcabinets was legit. They were very nice and confirmed that they were definitely legit and were one of their main vendors. We designed our own kitchen, but Motty helped us make sure what we wanted made sense AND helped me locate something else we'd seen online. Throughout this whole thing the customer service was top notch. Our only main issue was one of our boxes didn't come and we got the wrong style of glass door. Immediately, Motty remedied both. (And it was the delivery driver who forgot the 2nd box on the truck). We purchased the 'Essex' which are really well made cabinets. My husband, who is very picky and knowledgeable, was impressed. In fact, we recently went to our local big box and they had a new display. It showed an economy cabinet next to a top of the line custom cabinet and outlined the differences. We were very happy to see that, not only did our new cabinets have everything that was their "top of the line", ours had even higher end features than the expensive custom shown. I'm very thankful we found RTAwoodcabinets and super thankful to Motty's patience and professionalism.
