Jan 01,2020The Yoast SEO plugin for WordPress.org uses an outside sourced company to index the browser content connection to Google Search Console. The Yoast program sent me to a connected site called Ryte. My webpage was only days old and only minimum content size. The free analysis was left 50% unfinished by failing to complete the first scan. It had completed some corrections but claimed that the scan had reached the allowable limit for the free scan. Ryte further claimed that the program can only provide (1) one free scan every month, leaving the browsing information incomplete for 30 days. Additionally, I was also left unable of deleting the unfinished project for a month. The Google Search Console and Google Analytics for my webpage were broken and full of unfixable mistakes caused by the Ryte program. I made many complaints without any help from the support page on the company’s website. I was told to sign up for a free one month trial period to get full access to complete the original analysis of my site. I found Ryte’s program useless and failed its claim and capabilities. I canceled my subscription before the free trial period ended. My wife informed me that this company continued to charge my card for three months. I informed my card company about unauthorized charges to my account. The credit card company investigated and removed the charges and any further attempts to charge my card. I lately received mail by some assigned Collection Agency requesting full payment of the removed charge amount WITH INTEREST! I will be contacting the BBB to file a report against this company and would strongly advise all other filed complaints to file a complaint too!

Dec 06,2019Was sent to Ryte by the Yoast plugin for WordPress, so signed up to see what it did. Although the webpage is new and has little content yet it reached the limit for the free analysis only 41% of the way through. The errors pointed out were simple things we should have avoided if we knew anything about web design, so that might be useful. But next free analysis is not for a month and the paid subscription is far too expensive. The next problem is that you cannot delete the project until a month has passed. If money was no object it might be worth trialling further, but the price looks high for what it does. Also a bad impression of upselling and predatory business.

Nov 29,2019The connection to Google Search Console and Google Analytics was broken. Complained 3 times to support. Got charged the first month after trial period. Immediately requested full account cancellation and a refund. Was denied: "I understand that you are disappointed and I am sorry that we can not make an exception for you. The connection to Google Search Console is just a small part of the Ryte Suite and everything else is working without issues." Avoid like the plague.
