Apr 01,2024I walked in a couple minutes before closing and Erica Rodriguez was polite and welcomed me and showed me a couple spaces even it was closing time.She could have said sorry we are closed but she took the time to show us. She greeted me with a smile. She is very respectful and kind. She helped us out and showed us around. She was able to answer all of our questions. I would recommend trusting Safeguard Self Storage on 800 west Flager st Miami FL It is very clean and they she really take there time to help you Erica Rodriguez deserves more than 5 stars.

Apr 01,2024So I have been using this company for many years through many moves, and have never previously had an issue. However this last time I rented with them my family went to move things and found the entire unit invested with rats. There was nothing that could be touched without gloves. Everything was soaked in urine, blood, and covered in layers of rate poop. Years of sentimental items all destroyed. Of the 12 or so boxes stored there only one in the very top corner was salvageable. Electronics were fried by the urine. Childhood stuffed animals covered in blood that I certainly hope was from the rats. It was a biohazard disaster. On top of this, the netting that was above the unit to supposedly prevent things from getting in the unit had what appeared to be men's belongs stashed up there as if a homeless person had been sleeping above it. I am heartbroken and angry and can't believe I have lost a lifetime of memories to the grifters who have been steadily raising my rates for nearly a year while my items got destroyed on their watch. I wish so desperately we had thought to take pictures but we were all so distraught by the sight and pure ammonia smell that we didn't think to. We just wanted to get out of that disgusting place ASAP. NEVER rent from them if you don't enjoy trying to clean blood and caked poop off your valuables.

He could have said sorry we are closed but he took the time to show us. As we came back today he greeted us with a smile. He is very respectful and kind. He helped us out and showed us around. He was able to answer all of our questions. I would recommend trusting Safeguard Self Storage on California Avenue. It is very clean. Rondo Bruce deserves more than 5 stars.

Mar 21,2024I’ve had my unit for many years now & have dealt with the same people for most of them. However, one in particular has always been very helpful & friendly over these years. Her name is Tracy Truesdale (Store#100121). She has always kept her store very clean & has wonderful customer service. I would recommend her facility to anyone who may be interested in a self storage unit.
