Mar 30,2021Found this website after spending hours looking for OEM 1995 YJ Front Seatbelt replacements. I had initially given in, and resorted to feeding my remaining evening hours with Facebook. To my surprise, SEATBELTSPLUS became available as a promotional ad on my News Feed. If you own a Jeep, I do not have to explain how hard it is to find replacement seatbelts OEM, as the retractor and seatbelt are looped into one locking bolt. THE ONLY TIME FACEBOOK STALKING ME HAS EVER WORKED TO MY ADVANTAGE, THANKS Zuckerberg... I have tried to salvage junkyard seatbelts... SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR LIFE. Major plus, custom colors! I have a Black & Orange Jeep people... OF COURSE I GOT THE ORANGE SEATBELTS WITH NO EXTRA. COST. PHOTOS UPCOMING!!!

Mar 27,2021I was disappointed in the seat belts I received. I had to contact the customer service to get installation instructions. These instructions came from a third party. When I installed the seat belts there was an issue with the belts retracting all the way. There is nothing that can be done to correct this problem. It seems to be an issue with the design. The latch hits the upper support and therefore will not retract all the way. The only way for the belt to retract completely is to move the latch. This would require the seat belt to be adjusted each time it is used.

Customer service was great in answering questions about the availability of various colors of seatbelts and the order fulfillment was very quick. On to the product: The seat belt is just average. It does its job and is sturdy. I had to install and reinstall it several times to get it lined up just right. I think illustrated instructions in paper on on the web for VW bugs and Karmann Ghias would be helpful (maybe they are out there but, if so, a pointer to them would be helpful). The main problem is with the buckles. The female buckle is attached to the tunnel and is supposed to be by your hip. Instead, it very easily slides up the webbing when releasing it and has to retightened virtually every time you use it. The male piece adjusts to the correct position to accommodate your waist size and seat position but has to be deliberately moved to do so, Then, when you unbuckle, the webbing retracts into the floor mechanism and the male buckle travels up to the shoulder attachment point, where it stops. It leaves a loop of webbing on the floor and out the door, which has to be stuffed back in. The webbing should slide loosely through the buckle so the webbing can fully retract. A "keeper" on the webbing would keep the buckle from sliding too far. In summary, the female buckle holds the webbing too loosely and the male buckle holds it too tightly. I feel safer with the seat belt but the functionality is only average.
