Dec 02,2015My computer recently crashed...more specific my hard drive quit working. Worse yet, I had been lax in backing up my computer for the previous year and a half. I went to a local computer repair service but they told me they could do nothing with the hard drive as far as data recovery...it was "unrecoverable" they said. I wasn't satisfied that all was lost and wanted to see my pictures, spreadsheets, documents, etc recovered. I decided to take a chance with Secure Data Recovery Services. I am extremely happy that I did. From the time that I dropped my drive off at the collection site to when I received my data back (intact), I received nothing but first rate service. At the core of the great service I received was my dedicated account representative, Mitchell Moore. This guy is an all star! He was on top of every communication point during the process...Responded to my emails in minutes not hours or days...was extremely flexible and willing to work and find me the best solution for my situation...and professional every step of the way. The techs at Secure Data Recovery were able to pull 100% of the data I thought I had lost (and that the local shop told me I had lost) off the defective drive and return it to me within a very short amount of time. In short, this is THE BEST customer service and service outcome I have had in a LONG time and a rare (these days, unfortunately) experience when a company communicated extremely well and delivered a high quality product. Nov 25,2015After I had a hard drive containing years of pictures and videos fail one day and my attempts to fix it proved futile, I contacted Secure Data Recovery based on the results of a Google search for local data recovery companies. I dropped off the drive, and they provided a prompt initial evaluation. Initially I found the service too pricey, but they were able to work on the cost a bit in exchange for longer recovery time. In the end, my data was successfully recovered and I am very glad to have it back and properly backed up now. Mitchell Moore handled my case very professionally and with excellent communication throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Secure Data Recovery if you have highly valued data that you would like to see again.

Nov 21,2015I was informed of each step that was taken, my representative was very knowledgeable, and I received everything I wanted. There were only two things that got to me a little. One was the length of time. The timetable spoken of and advertised did not include shipping, verification time to give an ok, etc. The length of time was around double the estimated time it seemed like. The other thing was the price. I know there's a lot of little, detailed, and clean room work that had to be done. The price kindof floored me at first. All in all though, a good experience.

Nov 16,2015A simple truth – all hard drives will eventually fail. A basic requirement of any computer system is a well-designed backup system with redundant backups that are frequently tested by the user (not some IT guy). Unfortunately, we trusted our valuable data (family photos, videos and critical bookkeeping data) to a third rate backup software that came with the discount external drive that we purchased. When the hard drive crashed, our backup was missing our most critical data. Recovering our data was worth the investment to hire a specialized company such as Secure Data Recovery to diagnose our drive and carry out data recovery. In our case, the read-write heads needed replacement before data recovery was possible. This type of work would not have been possible at the local computer repair shop. Secure Data Recovery was able to recover all of our most critical data. (We chose not to recover applications that could be reinstalled.) Customer service at Secure Data Recovery is excellent. Jeremy was assigned as our dedicated account representative and was readily available to answer questions by email or phone. The online authorization, payment and status website provided a convenient portal to check on the progress of data recovery and ask questions. The recovered data was shipped back to us by overnight parcel on an encrypted external drive. We had our new computer up and running the day we received the encrypted data disk. I recommend Secure Data Recovery when you end up with critical data on a crashed hard drive. I strongly recommend against “giving it a try” at the local computer shop.

Nov 14,2015You hear stories of computers crashing and think it will never happen to you. But it did happen to me last summer and I lost 13 years worth of symphonic, jazz and educational music scores. Some of the scores I had saved in hard copies but most had been lost. All of my jazz scores were gone and one symphonic piece in particular had taken 18 months to compose. We're talking about over 100 scores worth of music. I had originally sent my hard drive to DriveSavers with high hopes only to find out they could not retrieve any data. I almost gave up but decided to make a last ditch effort. I went online and found Secure Data Recovery and followed the prompts. The same day I received an email with a few questions and eventually talked with a rep - Jeremy Provchy. Jeremy was attentive, prompt and confident they could retrieve my data. I wasn't so sure but decided to take a chance and within 2 weeks I received an email that stated they had saved my scores. I called Jeremy to confirm and had my scores back in my possession by the next day via FedEx. This is one great company and I couldn't be happier. Money well spent.

Via an online website, they had me verify that all of my files were in tact. To my horror, after looking at the files, I realized that I had sent them the wrong hard drive! Jeremy was very understanding and never made me feel guilty for my mistake. We simply started the process over with the correct hard drive, and again, I receive friendly and prompt service. Oct 24,2015I was happy to find a company that could recover data from a severely damaged hard drive. I'm sure that I'm not alone, though, when I admit that I was baffled by the data when it was returned to me. Since I didn't have a catalog of everything I'd lost (who would?), it took a lot of hunting to track down what they were able to recover. And, while others might have understood this, I didn't realize that the programs that drove my data were not recoverable. For this reason, I couldn't even look at the data until I'd installed Windows, Office (paying for each), and the personal software I use. All in all, an unavoidably stressful venture that ended well. My rep, Mitchell Moore, was very good and was there to assist me whenever I needed. The first quote I received was a little out of my budget so Mitchell made some changes on delivery time, and got it back down to where I could afford it.
