Jan 11,2024I was told to fill out an agreement which I did that day of receiving this. They then said once received they would set up a date to collect items. This did not happen I had to chase 3 times. Missed phone calls both ends to then just receive an email of the date to be collect. Generally poor service. Still awaiting collection of goods, so I cant comment on this service.

Jan 10,2024I want to share my incredibly frustrating experience with Shred It, a company that claims to provide reliable shredding services. Unfortunately, my encounters with them have been nothing short of a nightmare. I urge everyone to stay away from this company to save themselves from unnecessary stress and financial loss. First and foremost, Shred It demonstrated a complete lack of coordination and communication within their own organisation. It's as if their left hand doesn't know what their right hand is doing. During the lockdown in 2020, when their services were needed the most, they charged me for visits that never even took place. It was clear that they were more interested in taking my money than providing the services they promised. To make matters worse, when I raised my concerns and asked for proof of the visits they claimed to have made, they provided me with a so-called "receipt" that wasn't even signed. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for accountability is simply unacceptable. It became evident that Shred It was more interested in covering up their mistakes than rectifying them. As if these issues weren't enough, when I finally decided to close my my Glasgow office in October 2021, I had to resort to using an external source for shredding services because Shred It couldn't seem to get their act together to come for the collection of items shredded. Their inefficiency and lack of reliability forced me to seek an alternative solution, costing me both time and money. In conclusion, my experience with Shred It has been nothing short of a disaster. Their incompetence, poor communication, and lack of professionalism have left me frustrated and deeply disappointed. I strongly advise everyone to avoid Shred It at all costs. There are more reliable and trustworthy shredding service providers out there who actually value their customers and deliver on their promises. Don't make the same mistake I did by trusting Shred It with your documents and your hard-earned money.

Jan 08,2024Had to wait 10 days for bags to arrive as the courier could not deliver at a time when l would be in and wouldn't leave them by the door. Now got to wait until 15th for bags to be collected so they are constantly in the way. I initiated contact with Shred-it on 14th Dec and l do understand about Christmas and holidays etc but l will not be using them again.

Whilst accessing help could be easier Louise Preston took full notice of the problem, owned the situation from start to finish and has not only resolved the problem but improved the service on our account. Jan 08,2024Rang up to inquire about delivery of bags which would be used to store documents for shredding. Spoke to a gentleman called Cole who assisted me, gave me a tracking reference, courier details and briefly explained the process once the bags were delivered.

Jan 05,2024I found Shred-It through a Google search, called the number shown on the website, and had dropped off my documents for shredding in under an hour (most of which was me sorting the documents that I needed to shred!). Paper trail was provided for book-keeping. Both the chap on the phone and the guy at the local depot were friendly and helpful. Very fast and easy-to-use service. Thank you!
