However, on reading review company refunded packaging and carriage charge to compensate for cost of additional packaging needed for gifts. Excellent customer service.

Nov 22,2023I had been a longstanding personal fan of Jascots Wine Merchants when the suddently decided (in a U turn to their desperate plea when lockdown happened) that individuals were beneath them and they were reverting to supplying trade only. They recommended Slurp instead and **fulldisclosure** gave me a £20 voucher. Slurps website is good and easy to navigate, the logistics easy and wine was delivered promptly. HOWEVER - maybe my poor choices (my old Jascots favourites are not stocked) but the low-mid price white burgundies that i selected were hideous. undrinkable. i did wonder if one was corked as it tasted like communion wine. In any event, good purchasing experience, terrible wine experience. I will not be returning.

The customer care team, one of whom was Shari, went out of their way to assist me. They helped me get what I wanted and explained how to make future purchases via their corporate team to avoid the same issue. Outstanding. The wine looks nice too and was next working day delivery!
