Nov 03,2021I want to write a review to explain a little bit more on the service for potential customers, having thoroughly explored multiple different options and companies I decided to go with SmoothSale. a few things I would want everyone to know before contacting a company like this is the following: 1 - you don't get the full value for your house (otherwise estate agents wouldn't exist) 2 - The service is free - but because you are not getting the full value you will get slightly less than what you would walk away with after all the normal costs, but you have no outlay. I contacted Smoothsale initially in early October. I was sent an email straight away confirming someone would contact me straight away, which they did. We had a conversation about the property I ran through the details of my house and received an initial offer over the phone straight away that was followed up in writing. The offer was around 80-85% of market value for my house. I decided to proceed with this offer straight away, Smoothsale promptly started the process and began work on it, they arranged a visit to my house for an independent valuation to be done, this was done by local agents in order to give a fair valuation of my property. While this was happening they put me in touch with a solicitor who collected some paperwork and information from my. After around 8 days SmoothSale had all the information they needed to confirm the final offer on my house. They called me and talked me through all the information they had on the property, the market, the legal check so I was able to make an informed decision. I found it great how transparent they were with me with all this information. I was happy with the final offer that was produced, so we exchanged contracts the same day and I gave them a day I wanted to move out the property and complete on. We completed on that day with no hiccups what so ever. In my opinion they are the best company who will stick to their word and work tirelessly to help. The only reason I’m not scoring them 5* is because the price we received was lower than I could have got if I was prepared to wait on the open market for 6 months or so.

Oct 27,2021I used this service out of frustration of using a traditional high Street agent..... I had an investment property I wanted to sell in order to free up some cash. The high Street agent said it would be gone in a couple of weeks however 6 months later it still hasn't sold. I came across SmoothSale and to be honest I was slightly sceptical because of the experience I'd had with the estate agent. However I'm pleased to say process was very straightforward. They were honest with me about why the property had not sold and offered me a fair cash price in the time frame I wanted. I would definitely use the service again and wish I'd known about it before.
