Sourgum Waste' founders, NJ natives and cousins Joe and Luciano, grew up in the waste management industry. 4 generations of passed-down knowledge plus their own first-hand experience made them acutely aware that the waste & recycling category was in urgent need of modernization, simplification and sustainabilization. They built Sourgum Waste to revolutionize the antiquated, fragmented and unreliable industry.
Sourgum Waste provides customers with on-demand waste services (such as roll-off dumpsters, commercial trash pickup, portable toilet rentals and more), and provides haulers with a smart SaaS allowing them to seamlessly manage their operations. These systems are connected by a smart proprietary portal, which constantly collects data to improve the quality, efficiency and sustainability of the services.

The online ordering process was simple and efficient. And the dumpster was delivered and picked up in a timely manner. Overall, a great experience.

Oct 04,2024Delivery and pickup was great but they end up charging an overage without proof. My debris covered 2.5 and it was mostly only cabinets, Sheetrock and carpet, nothing metal or anything heavy. Seems like a bait with the initial low price and then they hit you with an overage without an image of the scale.

Sep 25,2024I called and scheduled a dumpster for my home in Connecticut to help with a move. This was critical and the timing had to be just right. I had a date and was expecting the dumpster. I was told when I called that the dumpster was delivered (most likely to a neighbor since we have close numbers) It obviously was not, but that was simply a lie/cover up as he immediately said will get you one tomorrow (if you delivered it to another house in my neighborhood wouldn't you have to remove it, thus dropping it at my house?). The next day, same thing. No Show. I then cancelled the order altogether. Called another company who were SO PROFESSIONAL and ON TIME!

Sep 23,2024I was satisfied with using sourgum waste, as long as you can plan a couple days in advance everything goes smoothly, It was so easy everything was done over a quick phone call from ordering, to delivery, to pick up. Grant it I ordered multiple dumpsters on one project and it was very easy to use, I didn't waste my energy on sorting out trash removal as sourgum took care of that for me

Sep 15,2024We got a great price for your dumpster ( so we thought ) w We were told that filling the dumpster with household stuff, and not to fill above the height of the dumpster, ( which we did made sure to stay below the height), there would be no need to worry about the weight limit. We were told the weight limits are for demolition contractors, tree and stump removal. After the dumpster removal ( a week later ) we were informed that an overweight fee was applied and charged to us. After a week sitting , who knows where, anybody could have filled the dumpster or added stuff to that dumpster. Unwillingly, we paid the surcharge. So beware of these tactics when choosing a dumpster company, get referrals and question about these charges that get applied afterwards.

Oct 10,2024Charging us for cars being in the way to remove the dumpster (didn’t call or notify us of the time) is simply gouging during a hurricane. Unacceptable.
