Very good service and very good products, minor delivery problems during Covid were quickly responded to.
Normally, I find SP very reliable. But I bought some Niton Cotton/Elastane face coverings which proved to be unwearable. They were not returnable, but I thought it right to ring and warn the company about this obviously poor product. I explained this to a very polite call handler who promised a call from the manager. It never came. I did expect a refund - the terms of sale were clear - but I did expect a response.

We are a start up training company and needed to kit out our team. I had used SP gor many years in a previous role with great service. Our account was set up and Drags attended to all our needs, along with a friendly chat!. Our order arrived complete and ahead of time!
Placed an order on a Sunday for a high price item, tardis defibrillator bag. Postage was free due to item price, but paid extra £10 to have it delivered next working day (which I would assume would be on a Tuesday). Website took payment for order and order was confirmed. Nothing heard from SP during Monday til mid afternoon when told by customer service email that item was out of stock and would approximately be at end of month before in stock (this would be approximately 19 days from when order was placed). Replied to email stating I was a little upset as the website could have said at time of order that item was out of stock, awaiting restocking, offer alternative product etc but to have the site take the money without any warning was a little dismayed. Further contact from SP stated that website seems to be a list of stuff available but doesn’t reflect interns in stock Have been purchasing items from SP since 2002 and have never had isssues with any previous orders, but as item was required quickly for a group holiday event felt let down. Ended up purchasing a similar product through the prime people and arrived by the Thursday ready for the holiday and ready for purpose this weekend

We haven’t bought anything from SP Services for a while, mostly due to the Covid pandemic. We just haven’t needed to replace any of our supplies.

Ordered some small pouches to go in our new bags, as we expanded during the covid crisis - providing frontline services to Doctors surgeries and large companies, on 21st May 2020. When the order arrived, a lot of the pouches were on 'back order' - no indication of this on the website (showed as in stock) - and incredibly frustrating - other rivals seem to have got this right - with realtime stock counts on their website so you know how many are left, and what you can order. You only find out that SP doesn't have the item when it doesn't arrive ....... Spoke to customer services, several times now chasing for an update, and here we are, 14th August, and still no sign of the pouches. The bags are sat, in our unit, waiting for the pouches. They cant go out frontline until they are completed. I recommend you dont purchase anything you need 'urgently' from SP - you have no way of knowing if it will turn up next day, or if you will be on back order for months. This isn't the first time we've ordered and items have been on back order. Come on SP - you are the largest supplier, yet your website isn't linked to your stock system. If much much smaller suppliers can manage to do this (take a look at medisave), why can't you ?
