Aug 14,2024I’ve actually written a review about these before but wanted to update it as I’ve had both the 10L and 15L for well over a year now. The 10L is great, it can fit a couple pints of milk, a couple of cans etc and keeps them perfectly cold. The motor is ultra quiet so leaving in the bedroom overnight (as we do when staying in hotels without fridges) it doesn’t disturb at all. Even the little light on the back isn’t too obtrusive. A definite 10/10! Loved it so much that I decided to buy the 15L so that we could keep some more in it. This comfortably holds 4pints of milk, a bottle of wine and other bits. But, it has a couple of things that let it down over the design of the smaller one. 1. The door is magnetic rather than has a clip shut door, nightmare if you happen to load it up and then move it, the door will swing open and dump the contents on the floor! A real let down as we use it for our campervan and often move it before and after setting up. This has led to me either carrying it “on its back” to its intended location or using a bit of sellotape to avoid the door swinging open. Please put a clip door on it Subcold! 2. The light on the back of the 15L could be used to land planes!! It is sooooo bright!! When in either a room or campervan, it lights up the entire room making it difficult to sleep!! I have actually had to cover the light with tape to avoid this! Why so bright Subcold?! On the upside, the 15L doesn’t require switching between 230v and 12v as the 10L does so no forgetting to do that and finding nothing is cold. Also, it seems to have a thermostatic cut out so switches on and off as required rather than run constantly. Again, it is super quiet and unobtrusive. All in all these are brilliant and nice looking 12v fridges, ideal for camping or in hotel rooms. You won’t be wasting your money buying one of these!

Aug 14,2024The ordering process was clear, prompt and speedy. The fridge was delivered exactly as detailed within a few days. We used it during the Auguest UK heatwave for beers, other cans and the 10L fridge kept it really cold with no residual noice. A superb bit of kit.

Aug 12,2024We ordered a small 16 bottle wine fridge from Subcold based mainly on the reviews we had read and it seems we made a good choice. We placed our order on Thursday afternoon and the fridge was delivered by Saturday. Although we have placed it in the garage it would look good in any kitchen. The fridge came to temperature quite quickly and the wine is much cooler than it was in our normal fridge. I had read that it was a bit noisy but we have not found this to be the case. Price wise it is excellent value for money and I just wish I had bought one sooner.

Aug 08,2024I bought a Subcold mini fridge in June '24, and it suddenly started to leak water everywhere. I contacted Subcold about the fridge, gave them the order number from Amazon, and within 2days I had received a replacement! THAT'S WHAT I CALL GREAT SERVICE!! BRILLIANT.

Aug 08,2024This was a replacement machine for an older model that had finally died. Ordered at 2am Sat and the wine fridge was with us midday Sunday and down to 5°C by 9pm. Amazing service. Love the machine. Shelving is very configurable. I recommend Subcold highly.

Super quick customer service reply, super fast delivery, and a customer service team whihc know the meaning of customer service which is rare nowadays. Oh and the product is superb, quiet, good looking and perfect for intended use. I urge you to do business with this company.
