Sep 26,2024The delivery of the fridge was a little earlier than expected, we were all working in the shed so missed the delivery. No problem received a message to say when and at what time the fridge would be delivered and almost to the dot the appliance arrived. It was delivered to the top of the stairs but as I had a crew lifting gravel bags we took ownership and carried to the top of the garden. The appliance was opened on 20th Sept, just in time for the party that evening. The fridge reached the required temperature within 2 hours. We carried all the drinks from the family fridge, placed them in the beer fridge and the evening went off with a real swing. Yes throughout the evening we did have to replenish drinks, but the capacity is perfect for us. It looked really smart and changing the door so that it opened the other way was a breeze. So 5 stars without hesitation.

Sep 26,2024The description of the portable fridge was accurate and the delivery was lightening fast. We used it to keep upto 9 bottles of champagne super chilled throughout the weekend of our Son’s wedding. A lot of people appreciated it! It really cools quickly. I chose Subcold because they are a U.K. based company and support would be easier to obtain .. if we had needed. Of course we didn’t need anything as it arrived quickly, was exactly as described and has been reliable. We will use it as the overflow fridge at Christmas too.

Sep 25,2024Fridge stopped working within 9 months - contacted their customer service and was told the year warranty only really covers you for 30 days. After which I got fobbed of with excuses and I am left with a fridge which I am having to take to the local dump after just 9 months.

Sep 19,2024Was looking for a wine fridge to be used as a side table (yeh, any excuse) and I found this little cracker from Subcold that had been refurbished and was priced accordingly (about £50 off retail). It stated that it had 'some cosmetic damage' but came with a year warranty and worked as new so I was expecting something with noticeable damage - the corner was ever so slightly dented, barely noticeable and as far as I can see that was it. I plugged it in, it cooled quickly. Oh, and i got the chance to haggle - i do love a good haggle and got about £20 off the already discounted price. A well happy wine drinker here, thank you
