The product might be good, however the fridge arrived in a very poor packaging condition!! Apparently its an environmental policy to only ship in the thin white box, the fridge we received based upon external examination had clearly been thrown around a few times on route!! Uploaded one photo, the other 5 show ripped box, dented packaging etc
Bough a fridge it arrived damaged - they tried to charge me more to get a replacement. Eventually arranged a new one for a £3 discount but then had the same issue - offered £10 for me to keep the damaged fridge and repair it myself! Both times they blamed the courier (a common theme across their reviews) no compensation for time or income and now they won’t even send a replacement. Customer service is non-existent and all they do is moan about having given a discount for the purchase of the fridge. Avoid at all costs if you don’t want the hassle. You can get the same model from different suppliers with no hassle!
Even though my product was “refurbished“ it looked brand new.
SUBCOLD CAN ONLY DESCRIBE THE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE - SHOCKING ! Ordered online and the contract was for 48 hour delivery, waited in on day and tracked DPD to ensure I wouldn’t miss the fridge as I had bought £20 food to go into for the weekend - suddenly got a message from DPD saying ‘ sorry we missed you ‘ !!! I called subcold who weren’t helpful and my food had to go in the bin. On Monday I called subcold again to get them to contact their courier as DPD update was saying ‘ issues in your area ‘ spoke to another unhelpful woman who promised to call me back and didn’t. 2 mins later I got message from DPD saying delivery changed to Tuesday now ! Two hours after calling subcold I called back the unhelpful woman and spoke to the owner who was equally dismissive ( they had my money why try to help after all ) - I cancelled and then got a series of messages claiming they wouldn’t refund my money until they received the fridge back ( which of course I’d never had ) - eventually after threatening to get my MP involved they issued a refund which took days to get back to my card - they had my money for nearly two weeks - shameful service - no doubt the owner will try to pretend this isn’t true then I will post the emails. Sad to think this is a British company in 2024 !!! AS PREDICTED SUBCOLD SWERVED THE APPALLING EXPERIENCE BLAMING DPD BUT SUBCOLD WERE AS BAD IF NOT WORSE - SHAMEFUL
Very quick delivery. Quality product. Not yet fully tested as purchased as an overflow fridge for Christmas, but am confident that it will do the job very well.

My fridge arrived quickly. Unfortunately it had some damage to one of the corners. I reported it to the company and they were very quick to respond advising that this would not make any difference to working of the fridge or my warranty. We reached a compromise quickly. I would certainly buy from the company again. Thanks for being so responsive.
Great drinks fridge decent price, just what's needed
I bought the Subcold Pro 6L Mini Fridge last month and I love it! It’s perfect for my needs - I use it in my music room to keep some cans of Kombucha :) There was a “spooky” Halloween discount on at the time which made the already reasonable price of the item even better! I purchased late on a Friday night and it was delivered on the Sunday! Highly recommended product and website. A+++++

Wonderful mini fridge we had to buy whilst our kitchen is being renovated. It gets cold quickly and holds a surprising amount of food. It is super quiet and feels really good quality. Thought it would be just a temporary fix but I think we’ll get loads of future use from it. Very impressed with fridge and speedy delivery.
You kept me well informed of my delivery Quick delivery Good deal on price Th only fault was the actual delivery company as the box was very damaged which meant I had to check the contents before giving as a gift, which was sad as it was a gift and I didn want to break the seal.
There was a slight hiccup in the original delivery where the fridge failed to get cold! This was quickly resolved; the defective unit was returned FOC (label was sent by email) - and the replacement was quickly sent … this time to the Scottish Highlands … at no extra cost. These things can happen - but the good people at Subcold soon got in sorted. Would not hesitate to use Subcold again.

Nov 26,2024Not sub cold should be SUB STANDARD!!!!! The shelving for Cans / Bottles is way to thin (low gauge) which bends allowing Cans / Bottles to fall into each other. I've contacted Sub Cold to see if upgraded shelves are available to purchase they replied NO & NOBODY ELSE HAS COMPLAINED!!!!!!!!! Buyer Beware
