We have used suncamp twice already and both were great holidays looking forward to this summer
Website clear and easy to use, best price I found.
Booking was straight forward looking forward to our holiday
Great value. Comfortable tent. Well managed process. And a great campsite ideal for the kids, with beach access and brilliant water slides.
Great booking experience. Staying with Suncamp again next year. We tried a different Company last year as they were a bit cheaper but the accommodation quality of suncamp is superior to others like Human Travel or Canvas and only slightly more expensive (at times cheaper) so would recommend highly. Reps good as well. Stayed at Bella Italia Lake Garda 2017 and 2018 with Suncamp, now booked for 2020.
Easy website to use and cheaper than eurocamp!
Easy to book holiday cheaper than the other ones can't wait to go.
Great 5 day trip Accommodation was great, as advertised. Staff at the campsite was friendly and helpful, and wonderfully non intrusive. Most of the other clientele was from Netherlands and Germany and seemed like nice people, even though there was a language barrier between us. As for the Terme Catez itself, this is my third time there and is a great place to visit, just beware of the prices inside the complex. Better stock up in a nearby village and you will be good to go. Slovenia is also a beautiful place to visit, just beware of the tourist traps and prices, unless you don't care about the money. In that case, fire off, spend it all and have a good time!
Excellent customer service. Friendly staff. Reasonable rates compared to other companies.
The process for booking my holiday for Duinrell, Holland was very easy to understand and to complete, I had an issue at first, with matching my booking number to the company I’m staying with, Once I contacted Suncamp there customer service team based in Holland was ,,AMAZING,, they sorted out my issue instantly.very helpful and very polite. I’d recommend Suncamp anytime , there great, Billy lea
What a fab site and great for a family holiday. We arrived on August 19th 2019 for 11 nights and we are having a great time. We booked a two bedroom caravan but were put in a brand new three bedroom and it’s fantastic. Great facilities, spotless and lovely caravan. The site is quiet and few English people. Most of the site is for permanent residents with some caravans together for holidays. The shop is poor but there are three supermarkets in 5 mins drive. The lake is great and the beach is fab - quiet apart from weekends. Loads of activities and great for the kids. The splash zone is good for the little ones - the only thing that would have been fab was a pool as the weather has been amazing - 29’ most of the week.
Stayed at union lido with suncamps for a week in August. Fantastic site with superb facilities. Site right next to beach, with lots to do. Hired pedelo with slide for 12euros, for an hour of fun. Beach safe with lifeguards. Easy check in but have to leave passports until the day you leave. Day before you leave you have to pay taxes. Also when you check in with your operator for sun camps had to leave 100euros deposit for any damages, and it is returned at check out. Loved the aquapark Laguna, which suncamps is based really close to. Particularly loved the sand surrounding the pools and also on the bottoms of the pools. It was just like being on a beach. Also there were no sunbeds so no sunbeds hogging. People could just sit anywhere. Slides were amazing, keeping everyone of ant age happy. Restaurants were nicely located all over the site, offering tasty food with lots of choice at a reasonable price range. Handy having supermarkets and shops selling fresh bread daily. Not overpriced and good bargains. A few negatives, having to leave 100 euros(cash) for deposit with tour rep. Be better to have taken it against a credit card. Also check out time is from 8-10am, and they literally do chuck you out apartment there and then. Luckily ours was at 940am, but our flight wasn't until 4pm! So really your paying for 7 days but actually only get 6. Also quick note if your flight leaves before 7am, the site doesn't open til 7am so you might want to check out day before? Another idea was there are lots of bikes/ scooters/ trolleys as camp is so vast, (15 mins from one side of camp to other), it might be idea to put in cycle lanes as we nearly got bumped into on numerous occasions just walking to pool/ restaurants/ beach etc. Cyclists zig zagging around with not a care at looking out for pedestrians. Also be prepared for mosquitos. They are everywhere, even in daytime. Pack some strong repellent. Supermarkets do sell citronella candles etc but chemist was very busy with mosquito bites etc. There is a doctor on site that is free to see, in case need arises. Site team do spray citronella into trees every other night at 11pm which does help. If you do brave it and sit out on veranda be prepared. They recommend you keep your doors windows closed to prevent mosquitos getting in. We visited Venice for the day. We had a car so drove to nearby port Punta Sabbioni and paid 7 euros for car park. We went a across on ferry and stayed for 4 hours( minimum), you can stay longer if want. There is a bus direct from campsite taking you to ferry but this is very busy( but cheaper) When in Venice try not to eat in at at Marks Square, it's more expensive. Walk down the back streets and you'll find more reasonable options. Hiring a gondala costs 80euros for half an hour. Overall an amazing holiday, brilliant site and would definitely recommend and hopefully returning.
I found paying my balance to be quite difficult, I was expecting a link to go straight through, but apart from that no problems
Easy very quick and helpful
Easy to book. Almost too easy! Cheaper than Canvas and Eurocamp for the park we wanted.
Have been asked for a review before I have actually gone to the campsite yet so will review currently on basis of the booking process and will update after I have been. The website specifies a 3 day period after booking to change or cancel booking if booked more than 28 days prior to departure. I booked 30 days before departure on the Thursday but on Saturday decided to upgrade the accommodation and reduce the length of stay m. This proved quite difficult to do, it was impossible to change this via the website and I had to wait until the following Monday as customer services were not available on the phone over the weekend. When i spoke to them on the Monday, they initially told me I could not make any changes or cancellations despite their own terms and conditions of 3 day free cancellation period and had already paid the amount in full. After several calls and emails, they eventually conceded and allowed me to change but implied that they were doing me a favour! No harm done but it did make me concerned about the company's values and I'm not sure I will use them again. I will reserve some judgement unti after my trip but I would recommend carefully reading their T&Cs before booking and not to take their initial response to queries on face value.
Excellent place to stay
