I have seen Mr Mirza for over 30 years and have been very happy with my treatment over that time, I am very sorry that he is retiring but fully understand and hope that whoever takes over his patients will be as good . Cannot recommend enough.
I was made at ease through out the procedure
The dentist was very calming and caring he got the job done perfectly and super fast, couldn't have had a better experience:)
Fantastic dental staff. Very prompt and eased any anxieties. By far the best dentist I have been to!
I pre booked an #Oxyjet treatment at the Burnley #Synergy practice which was advertised on the website as being 40 minutes long (a claim now conveniently removed). I will not name the staff concerned but have them noted. The treatment costs £100, £30 deposit, balance due on the day. The last time I had a professional tooth clean was 12 years ago and this was long overdue. The website looked very professional as did the photos. I arrived to what I felt was a dingy looking reception - make your own mind up from the photo. My appointment was upstairs and scheduled for 11.20am. After ten minutes waiting in a cramped waiting area with two others, I was asked in. The dentist asked me what I wanted and I explained I had paid for the Oxyjet. He said he could do an ordinary, traditional scrape and polish if I wanted and it would save me some money. I said no I wanted what I had booked - after 12 years with no professional clean I wanted a thorough job. The treatment itself was satisfactory. I was sprayed with lots of water which went down my neck and I had to keep pointing out but I didn’t mind too much. Upon leaving I noticed it was only 11.45am. This meant I had only had a 15 minute treatment instead of the 40 one expected. I pointed this out to the lady on reception who did not offer to address the issue, only pressed me to pay the balance of £70. I explained I would be complaining. Indeed my receipt clearly says 11.47am. So all done and paid for by then! I complained the same day in writing. I explained I was a fair person but that if £100 was the price for a 40 minute treatment seeing as I had had a 15 minute one, I wanted the surplus £62.50 returning. Today I received an email with no such offer, just what I consider to be platitudes about the time not mattering because the price was for the treatment and mine was done more quickly. I had deliberately picked a private treatment because I wanted a thorough job. You the reader can see from my screenshots that nowhere does it state ‘up to’ 40 minutes. As a customer, what would your expectation have been? Would you have been happy with it being trimmed to less than half than this with no reduction in cost? I am sure they will ‘reply’ to this review and tell me to contact them again or whatever. Well I already did and it got me nowhere. I will report it to other governing/regulatory bodies should they exist and see if there is a case for trading standards. Unless I remove this review then please take it that this has most definitely NOT been resolved. So over all my experience was a very negative one. An unpleasant environment, what felt like a rushed treatment and a terrible approach to resolving customer complaints. I would never use this place again. *please note I cannot find a way of adding the photos i mention on here but if I am able to at a future point I shall do so. I shall include them in Google/other reviews. Also - when reading the other reviews on here, notice how many ‘reviewers’ have only given one single review. Nothing to see there at all….. You can see I have been a member of this forum for a very long time since 2011 and have given a variety of reviews (16) both good and bad for different services/goods.
Swelling, bruising, off work for a number of weeks. Antibiotics and painkillers every day for over 2 weeks. The dentist did not cut the gum to try and get the tooth but ripped through the gum to pull the tooth out
Dr Aysha and nurse Alex saw me as an emergency referral and they instantly put me at ease. A very painless appointment that made me feel much less anxious about visiting the dentist.
Everyone at the practice is extremely welcoming and definitely put me at ease during each of my visits. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist.
My first time at Synergy - never enjoyed a visit to the dentist - but made to feel relaxed. Team very friendly, professional and efficient 👍👍👍
Fantastic team, dentist was very clear on the treatment I needed, she was honest about the issues which needed to be resolved and set about making plans to make sure I can have nice healthy teeth again.
Staff are amazing and make you very comfortable
My daughter had panic attacks and had a bad experience and I coundnt recommend this surgery enough they are absolutely brilliant wish we could go all time there
Great service and patient management
Pleasant, compassionate and competent staff. Made the visits and procedures easy to deal with, problems sorted very quickly.
I first time gone but i like work good i cleaned my teeth very good
My dentist and assistant were very patient with me as i have had a phobia about dentists from a very young age and although I am addressing this I still need a moment or two to calm myself down. They also took time to explain what has happened with my teeth and what is needed to be done to rectify it. Both very helpful and kind. I know being in health care there is a lot of time pressure etc but they were both great despite these pressures
I went to have 3 teeth removed and as I have Addison’s disease they told me that I needed to go to hospital for the treatment after asking if they could do the procedure and told by them that they could, I was very annoyed as I had to change my week around to have the procedure that day and they never apologised
I wouldn’t really say the experience was great because just the thought of going to a dentist is frightening enough but as soon as I walked in they put me at ease straight away and the treatment didn’t take long thankfully 😅
Felt really uncomfortable. Dentist basically said I’m fat and he wouldn’t do the work because of my weight.
