Beware the returns period - 14 days which is not adequate for something like building supplies where there can often be a delay before installation. I ordered a cistern and my bathroom work took longer than expected - by the time the plumber discovered that it was the wrong type, it was too late to return it. You'd imagine they could have waived the usual rule given that I wanted to exchange it for another product from them, rather than refund it, but customer services gave me a very unhelpful 'computer says no' response.

Taps Empire took my order for a RAK Vanity Unit and took full payment from my card. They sent me an email saying delivery would be 4 weeks. 2 days later they wrote to me to say that the item was discontinued and they could no longer supply it. I wrote to the manufacturer who said that the item was not discontinued. Taps Empire are still selling the unit on their website but just for £50 more than the price they charged me on my order. They just don't want to supply it at the contracted price (even though they already charged me). Update based on response: They have said that the item they still sell (for £50 more) is a different SKU but it is exactly the same physical product.

Purchased Flove taps from the company at a fraction of the price of other retailers. Delivery arrived within two days and taps are excellent quality. they were very well packaged and protected for transit. Will definately use them again in the future.

I bought a RAK basin and vanity unit from Taps Empire. Upon inspection, only the vanity unit was RAK and the basin is a cheaper brand. When I contacted them, they admitted to knowing this. They are still selling this item misleadingly via their website, as all RAK. I say misleadingly, but perhaps fraudulently is the better word. I need the item fitted so am having to stick with it. Very frustrated.

Chosen item, shower mixer valve was shown as available, but was out of stock. Slow response to ordering an alternative valve. Original order late Thursday, valve arrived midday Wednesday when it was said order was urgent.
