Jun 08,2024Appalling state of a chair. No communication after two weeks, so emailed to find out it was being sent the following day. (Maybe this is the cause of rhe problems) Let's be clear, maybe my chair was an outlier but the condition was awful. Missing and loose screws in the armrest, signs of heavy use on the base, rubber bands still in the wheels, plastic surrounding the seat had been pulled away, damaged and dented, upholstery looked awful and done on someone's kitchen table. Fabric wasn't tight at all. Chair was heavily scratched with paint missing and had not been cleaned. To be fair to the company, they apologised and sent a FedEx returns label and very promptly issued a refund. No attempt was made to replace the chair or offer any other solution. Back to square one for me having wasted 3-4 weeks on this.

Apr 08,2024Customer service was really poor, had been played about many times and zero to little communication unless it was when I was purchasing the chair, that was the only time they had shown much interest or bothered to reply. They had not kept me updated with delivery times after I specifically asked twice (as I was getting 26 chairs delivered to an office). They also delivered 6 chairs that were faulty. They then took ages to deliver new chairs and collect the old faulty ones, again not updating me on when delivery and collection would be, or sending someone to collect on the days I specifically mentioned I would not be in. I then ordered another chair and have had the same issue, no apologies, no sense of urgency. Not somewhere I would recommend, especially if you are an office/business, it's not worth the hassle and lack of communication from them. We need more chairs but have decided to take our business elsewhere.

Apr 04,2024I was a little worried about this purchase due to the rating on here, however according to Google reviews the company is under new management and personally I had a very good customer experience overall. I made the order and received a courtesy email from customer service. I replied to this email with some questions and a team member responded straight away. 7 days later the chair was delivered. It had been cleaned and reupholstered to a very high standard, so I got a premium office chair at a very low price. I am very happy with this experience.

Apr 04,2024Fabulous company, I ordered a Herman Miller Mirra and it arrived within 2 weeks as specified. After a quick look over I noticed how clean the chair was I could almost see myself in it, the technician done a brilliant job. It's amazing you can get a chair of such good quality for such little price it makes me so happy. My bum is also very pleased :)

Mar 12,2024I live less than 15 miles from this place and they took more than a week to deliver the chairs - could have been more it I hadn't chased and chased asking where, when, what's going on..... To be clear, not the couriers, this was solely down to Office Crowd's incompetence, lies and lack of responsibility. Communication appalling (sometimes answer emails, sometimes don't but no contact number), consideration non-existent, not a word of apology about it from them proving zero customer interest on their part. Pay your money, get what you get and just pray you don't get any problems because you will get no help (I'm talking about the basic stuff not something special or complicated). They are very much a "here today, gone tomorrow" outfit (interesting info on Companies House if care to look), do as little as possible for your money and care nothing about customers. Sure, if this review can dissuade someone from using them, fine but, to be clear, after the hassle they caused me, payback is warranted - DO NOT USE!

Mar 11,20242 office chairs arrived in an appalling stage of dirty. The whole frame and wheels were not refurbished in any way and full of scratches and signs of heavy use. Its arguable if anything other than the fabric was replaced but even this I couldnt tell by the level of dust and dirt on them. I had to purchase new castor wheels and ended up hiring a upholstery cleaner to clean them. I wouldnt recommend.

Feb 23,2024What a shame. It’s a great idea, refurbishing office furniture and the chair I bought and (eventually) received is excellent at a great price. But…. Just be honest about the delivery lead time, just give your customers proactive updates without waiting to be chased and don’t keep saying “end of this week” when you must know that can’t happen. Based on the chair it would be 5*, based on the service 1* so taking the whole into account 3*

Jun 11,2024Ordered a refurb Humanscale Freedom on white. I thought it was risky given these reviews but no! Item arrived, the chair works perfectly and the padding is clean! one mark on headrest which is fine. The 1 minus star is because the wheels were very dirty. The chair cost me about £300 after I sent an off and it got knocked down from £390! Well worth it, and I feel like I got a bargain, very happy customer!
