The Timeless Chesterfields brand is owned and operated by Saxon Furniture Ltd, a family run, British company who have been expertly hand-crafting Chesterfield leather and fabric furniture for 40 years.
The success of the company can be attributed to the dedication and ethos of producing the finest Chesterfields in the country without exception. Unlike these companies, we hand-craft all our own designs in our workshop in Lancashire by our very own time-served upholsterers, seamstresses and cutters, many of whom have grown up with the business.
As a company, we believe in being completely open about how our products are crafted and what materials we use. So much so that we invite you to come along personally to watch the expert skills and eye for detail of our master craftsmen first hand via our unique viewing gallery in our showroom. It's an honesty that has served us well for 40 years and is evident not only in the workshop but across the company from, the showroom staff to customer services to the delivery team to our support staff. Dec 22,2020I was looking for a really nice Chesterfield office chair for my office. It was difficult to find one here in the U.S. , but I managed to track down these guys in the U.K. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I placed my order online and it was an easy process. I was a little worried - you never know how things come out in person, but the chair looks even better than it did online. Beautiful leather, great design and quality materials. It took a while to have it shipped, but was worth it.

Nov 11,2020This is the first time i have ordered settees online without getting the opportunity to sit on them. The settees look beautiful, are well made, strong and sturdy. Very comfortable to sit on and look great in our living room. The process was easy to order on line. Got a confirmation email immediately and only put down a deposit. Received good communication re delivery date and easy full payment made. Delivery was simple, within 5 mins the settees were unpacked checked and in place. Highly recommended company.

Nov 07,2020Contacted Timeless Chesterfields regarding purchasing replacement foam for slightly sagging seats but was told the complete seat would have to be replaced as new foam was to difficult to replace. I explained had just taken out and turned the foam over within the covers in just a few minutes,not a problem, not only that, new leather on the seat would look odd against the surrounding sofa but they would not help. Will have to find another upholsterer to assist.

Oct 15,2020UPDATE: We have had our sofa bed for almost 3 years now and, unfortunately, I have to lower the rating. The reason: The sofa bed has become extremely uncomfortable. You can literally feel each and every spring. It is impossible to sleep on it. The sofa still looks optically great though. First, we received all the samples we wanted, then clarified the delivery options (2nd floor, very narrow entrance angle, restricted parking area). The delivery was perfect, well organised and absolutely fuss free. But the best thing is the sofa itself. Excellent quality, we love it! All our guests also always comment on how terrific it looks. Thanks a lot, Timeless Chesterfields.

They were all very helpful from the moment of choosing the product to the moment of receiving the Sofa and chairs at home. We were really impressed with the way they sent us different types and colors of leather samples in order to help us make the right decision. Whatever questions we had were instantly answered. We felt very safe of ordering the products over the internet as they gave us a lot of support. We were very satisfied and happy with the service and the workmanship of the products.

Oct 09,2020We ordered online whilst in lockdown but read a lot about the company and furniture first as it's quite an expensive purchase. We weren't disappointed. Delivery was easy and the guys set up the furniture for us. We had a traditional oxblood corner sofa and stool. The quality is just luxurious. It's a little hard right now as with most new furniture, although it is comfortable. I expect it to soften over the years and last us for a very long time.

Jan 28,2021I searched globally for a Chesterfield furniture maker. Living in Australia meant that I started with Australian furniture makers, then expanded my search to UK and USA. There are also useful articles online that highlighted features to choose (and pitfalls to avoid). From my research, I put together a wish list, including: a) a real timber frame (not MDF or other composite wood); b) individual tacks (not blocks of 5 tacks joined together); and c) the type of leather (especially, not small patches sewn together). I decided to select full aniline leather. I want a particular shade of green that was not available in standard aniline offering however, the sales manager from Timeless Chesterfield provided me with additional Italian leathers options and I was able to find just the right shade. Following my research and communication with Timeless Chesterfield, I felt confident enough to buy my first pieces of furniture online. I selected a 3-seater sofa bed and two scroll chairs. Given that my leather was bespoke, this was my one-and-only chance, so I needed everything to be right. The furniture arrived securely packed in bubble plastic, cardboard shipping cartons and surrounded by wooden crating. Everything was safely packed. The quality was faultless. Everything was as good as I could imagine. I am so pleased with the quality of the furniture. I'm sure the craftspeople who made my furniture were proud when they finished it, but they will never be quite as happy as me. I wanted to make this purchase my last lounge set, and I feel confident that it will become items of pride in my family for generations to come.
