We needed somewhere to stay for a couple of nights whilst we did a couple of National Trust gardens. The name Tudor Rose sounded ok as did the reviews. We had no problem fiding it - and this was without a SatNav. We were made welcome when we arrived and the village of Hawkhurst had all we needed from the shops. The bed was comfy and breakfast was wonderful both in quality and quantity. Well worth it, would not hesitate to go again.
I booked a B&B in North Wales from Canada. I was offered many choices with full descriptions as to location, facilities and prices. It was very easy to book after making my choice. Confirmation of the reservation was almost immediate.I highly recommend Toprooms.com, especially if you are looking for guest house or B & B type accommodation.
we stayed three nights at the Kenways in scarborough , the room was clean and comfortable but rather small. hazel. the owner was friendly and helpful. breakfast was nice although I would have liked a choice of fruit juice, there was only orange which I,m not keen on. its located in a nice position near to peaseholme park and the north bay. we enjoyed our stay.
hotel was very hard to find lounge was just terrible bar was poor not that we would have been able to sit anywhere was like a dumping area ,bedroom was small but did have a ensuite/bedding was all mismatched tv did not work properly/breakfast was not up to standard will not even consisder on going back.
Great bed, great shower, great breakfast, , what more could you ask.
Booking via Toprooms.com was very simple to do. It would have been reassuring to see the room I had book become unavailable as soon as my booking had been confirmed but everything had completed successfully behind the scenes.
Comfortable - the shared bathroom wasn't a problem as I was only there for one night. Good recommendation for evening meal in the town and hearty breakfast. Friendly host with good sense of humour.
had an enjoyable stay here at the Dutchman hotel breakfast nice didn't eat here but the food smelt lovely when we arrived overall would recommend if you like 5* ratings then maybe this isn't the hotel for you. Nothing extravagant but a great cheap hotel enjoyed it very much
Hi Well we didn't stay at the Gables,we were told the day before our break, that, there was aproblem with our room and would we mind going to their sister Hotel further into Yarmouth. It was ok, staff were brilliant, but no one on duty at night in case of emergencies. We have stayed in better for less money, but the staff made up for that
Our few days in The Cotswolds, was made fabulous by our stay at the very friendly, cosy and vibrant Red Lion in the little village of Cricklade. Rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable, with all good facilities all round. Food, from a vast menu, was excellent. As Camra 'Pub of the Year 2013', the array of 'on-site' brewed ales was a dream! I have no hesitation in recommending it, even to the most discerning. If we're down that way again, we would definitely re-visit. WELL DONE, RED LION!!!!
We have just spent 3 days in Penzance staying at Chiverton House. The owner , Alan, was extremely helpful and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable, in a great location. I would recommend this as a base for West Cornwall.
made welcome from start beautiful thatched cottage room delightful bed very comfortable. the breakfasts were to die for plenty of choice everything fresh and well presented. cannot praise it enough would recommend it highly.
Description of Pub/ Hotel was spot on. Booking was so easy and best of all got a cheaper deal than booking direct with hotel
Very friendly welcome, the room was comfortable, breakfast was very good and Keswick centre is a stroll away. For us the only down side was that the room was too small, website pictures can be misleading.
Very helpful proprietor, a well appointed room, hearty breakfast and a location which was ideal for me - near to Queens Drive and the motorway, close to my old school (from 40 years ago!) and with easy access to the city centre. Good value too. Excellent.
Clean and freindly. Cant get a better location.
Room was a good size for a family and hosts were lovely and friendly. Breakfast excellent. Bathroom could have done with a little modernising and we stayed two nights but room wasn't made up after first night including no extra teas/coffees/biscuits, however I'm sure these would have been replenished if we asked. Would definitely stay there again.
Accommodating staff. Nothing further to add
Worth looking at. reasonable selection.
