Great course, very informative and good learning structure.
Great course with great instructor, got the PAT qualification in two days.
It started off well, week 1 was in depth but plenty of hands on which is good to get you the feel for it. Week two online zoom felt was good and you got plenty of patience to get used to it. eLearning is very useful and you can go over and over to refresh. Had to cancel the 2nd call to covid reasons at works and postponed for few months with new dates agreed from tradeskills and my employee so could plan ahead. Then due to redo 2nd week in a fortnight and month ago they moved all my dates around and just sent me emails, had to phone them and say not possible due to work commitments/customers etc and was not pre warned and these dates were given to me by themselves. They later on that day apologize and kept to the original dates. Two weeks later had a phone call saying you can do week 2 but we need to cancel week 3, no reason given. Had to repeat the above saying it can't be done and advised to speak to my employer. They can't give me any new dates and wouldn't give any reasons for cancelling as to cancel course or at least confirm new dates, nothing was advised to email. Email sent no reply after 3 days, second email send and replied saying you will have a response within 5 working days. 8 working days later no response. Ive logged onto Moodle and see week 3 is cancelled but week 4 is still booked in. No communication from tradeskills for you, will be pushing this further however I have to say there admin/customer care is very poor and ruins the course. When you spend 2.5k upfront you expect to be treated well at least. Tutors good, I would advise people to do your own research, especially with all the new regs that changed in September regarding joining schemes. Let's see if this comments gets a reply to our emails.
Overall is good, but pace of zoom teaching is a little too fast, otherwise it's good.
Great trainers, go out if their way to help. Back office staff are excellent
A very no-nonsense approach to changing your career. They give you all the necessary training and support required. The online training software is smashing, allowing you to learn a lot in your own time. I learnt at the Coventry Centre which had a very experienced teaching network of staff. The facility was clean, smart and up to date. I went for the full three step approach starting in March and finished end of November, full on but if your serious and enjoy electrical work then it’s a no brainier. Learnt a lot from the lecturers who were very experienced themselves as I have said and I feel I have enough lesson, practical skill and knowledge behind me now to pursue the next step. Only thing that I think could be done better is to have a clearer explanation from the start of the course as to what you are qualified to do when you are finished. As the customer service make out you’ll be a fully fledged electrician. Which is impossible to be as you require an NVQ and experience. The staff at the Coventry Centre made it clear to me and I already knew when signing up to Trade Skills that I wouldn’t be classed as a full on ‘Sparky’ once finished. I am in this for the long haul.
Well presented mix of online learning and in person prectical training. For someone with a good bit of prior knowledge they did go a bit slowly sometimes but they made sure to get everyone in the class through their exams.
Fantastic place to learn electrical skills, within a well run and organised establishment, I would highly recommend Tradeskills4u
The entire experience has been brilliant. I couldn’t fault the staff at Warrington from the ladies in the office to the tutors they have made the process for me. I have really enjoyed this course, the trainers have been great and have a indepth knowledge and provide great support for you in every aspect needed. I would highly recommend this course.
Easy to find, everyone friendly, workshops are great, and everything there that is needed. Overall great experience.
Very happy with the Step one domestic installer course I just completed with Tradeskills 4 U. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get into or wants to do any of the courses available.
Good school, good teachers, good environment.
We had an unpleasant experience with this course provider, but now have resolved matter and they gave a full deposit refund. We recommend you do your ‘due diligence’ when choosing electrical course, read other reviews and compare the market offering before booking is the advice we share.
I am attending TS4U in Gatwick. Firstly the facilities at the centre are top class. Secondly, so far, the training has been delivered at a pace that’s comfortable for me, allowing me to process the information given to me. Teachers are readily available for advice and knowledge when needed, but are also happy to allow the freedom for students to find their own way of doing certain things. I’ll definitely be going back for further training
I have used TS4U for the last 3 years & recommend you do too! I had to transfer my 15 years experience into qualifications that are compulsory for me to continue to work in the domestic industry. The process is simple, from booking your courses to completing the final exams, if you follow the tutors teachings & put in the study time required you WILL pass here. A place in the virtual classroom is created with each course via"Moodle" their online learning system, this includes Mock exams, video links & resources/ handouts. Worth every penny!
Trade Skills 4 U have been excellent in every way for me. I was completely new to electrics, but Trade Skills 4 U made it much simpler and easier to understand. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to learn to become an electrician to join with Trade Skills 4 U and I will be continuing my journey to becoming a fully qualified electrician with Trade Skills 4 U.
Happy to see their service is catching up with them. COWBOYS STAY AWAY
Course was well delivered, with interaction to keep it interesting. We ran through some mock exam questions too, which was good, and gave me confidence that I'd definitely pass the test.
Good all round. the course was informative and to the point, I found it reasonably priced for the length of the course and the information provided. The teacher was clear and concise, the reception staff were very polite and helpful.
