In response to what Traveljunction has written. My problem had nothing to do with airlines or pricing at all. The problem had to do with Traveljunctions website. I tried three times to book the flight and all three times after I had confirm my credit card information, I was thrown back to the first step, to indicate my flight information from what city to what city. After 3 tries, I assumed the website was not working. About 8 hours later, I received an email from Traveljunction requesting I call them immediately. Only then did I discover that I had a reservation and had to go through a stressful process of trying to cancel the reservation. It was clearly a Traveljunction problem, not an airline problem. Again I have to thank Trust Pilot for their excellent review service. Please see my original review below. Today October 4, 2024 at 2 pm, I tried to use Traveljunction to make a reservation for a flight, one-way, from Toronto to London, England. I followed the steps including verifying my credit card information, but I was not taken to the confirmation step I was taken to the original window asking me for flight details. I tried the process three times, using a second credit card the third time. Again, the process again was a deadend, not getting me to any confirmation website, so I assumed I had made no reservation. At 9:50 pm tonight, I received an email from Traveljunction indicating that I had made a reservation and that had to get in touch with me because the phone number I gave them was problematic. Apparently, Traveljunction requires its customers to have a cell phone. Well, I am part of the 1 in 10 Canadians who do not have cell service. I have travelled very much all of my life and especially during the cell phone era. Traveljunction is the first travel agency or airline that I have dealt with, that does not offer communicating by email instead of by cell phone. In addition, they are the first travel agency that has not shown me confirmation of my trip on their website immediately after the reservation has been made. From their email, I am calling their toll free number to try to cancel the reservation. I am on hold. I have also written an email to them asking them to cancel my reservation. Posting reviews on Trustpilot in the past has helped me get problems resolved quickly. I trust this will happen again. I will not use Traveljunction again. I did eventually get through to Traveljunction on the phone. The consultant listened to my explanation and assured me the reservation would be cancelled. I was disappointed only when he hung up as I was thanking him. Booked a flight to New Zealand at a very good price. Next morning phone call to say that the return leg was not available anymore. Could go standby or book a different with a different airline for $500 more. We refused and were told that the charge would go thru as there was no refund. We refused the other flight and fortunately never heard from them again. The second flight they were offering was higher than what I could book directly with the airlines. Such a dishonest company. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. Look at reviews and the following comments. They make no sense,

Oct 12,2024I booked ticket online and while I am waiting for confirmation no confirmation email comes up and I call after 90 minutes the agent ask me to wait and I waited till I get a call from agent telling me one way get confirmed and return not confirmed and to be confirmed i have to pay $140 when I asked him to cancel the ticket since the company did not provided me with what I booked he said we will charge you $75.
