Don’t book with this company they take your money and don’t give you a refund when they cancel the trip! Wish I could give a zero they don’t even deserve a 1!
Me and my partner booked a trip back in 2020, it got cancelled due to the start of pandemic. Only option I was allowed was a credit note. I Accepted that for a second trip to London in 2021 which then got cancelled due to covid, the only option they gave me was a credit note again so i waited until the covid rules relaxed and booked our 3rd trip to disneyland paris for january 2022 which ultimately got cancelled but only found out it was cancelled after relentlessly trying to contact them weeks before the trip as i was given no information no tickets to say the trip was still on until a few days before we was suppose to leave on the trip. The option i was given this time was a full refund of £650 or a later date to disneyland. I accepted the full refund due to the uncertainty around covid restrictions. I Was told it be here within 28 days. Then turned into 90 days due to disneyland holding the money, i was then told I would have to wait 6 weeks, now im on the 8th week no refund still and ive been contacting the company for updates but getting the same old rubbish stringing me along. Also being told the person who deals with refunds has now left the company and now I'm getting told it's been processed but when I asked why is there delay they basically said they have processed it but needs to speak to my card provider. I've spoken to my card provider and they have no information on this refund, which means they basically lying saying they dont know where my money has gone and this is With multiple calls, emails, social media messages since the beginning of January. This has been going on since 2020 and now in 2022 with no sign of my refund!! All the replies I'm getting Is we'll chase this up for you" or " we'll be in touch when we know" they never ring me to give me updates i have to contant them! Which they ignore 95% of the time!! I just want my refund!!!

Terrible company! Be warned. We were supposed to go to Disneyland Paris in December 2021, due to the change in covid restrictions we were offered a full refund or to move the trip which we were unable to do due to a member of the group being pregnant. We opted for a full refund, now March 2022 and still no refund!! We call nearly every day and are lied to, we have been told the refund has been processed, then told there is no evidence of this, completely let down every time. This company is a disgrace and I will never book or recommend them again. We are owed over £1000!!
I booked an Emmerdale tour and I was a bit worried after reading the bad reviews and did have trouble contacting customer services when I hadn't received my travel ticket but this arrived via email 3 days before departure. However, the coach picked us up on time and our driver Lee was fabulous - he was smart, friendly and funny. He kept us informed of what was happening during the whole trip. This was his first time doing this tour so, inevitably he got lost a few times but it really didn't matter. We stayed at Hollins Hall hotel which was lovely. The rooms are a bit dated but very spacious and immaculately clean with very comfortable beds. Food at the hotel was great too. The Emmerdale tour was very interesting and well organised. I would have given 5 stars but there was a bit of a wait for feeder buses to pick up from Cardiff Gate. Overall a great experience and I would definately use Travel with Matthew in the future.
We booked a trip to Bournemouth in April this year and it was cancelled and I asked for a I, I have phoned and e-mailed them and I still haven't heard from them or recieved a refund.its been over the 30 days I was told to wait What a crappy company
Had another lovely trip to Blackpool this weekend with matthew, lovely company on the bus including the driver Lee. Big thanks to you all. We can't wait for our next trip in August!
Had 2 trips cancelled 3 days before departure. Still fighting to get refund after waiting the requested 28 days. Will never book with them again
Went to torquay on the 5th march with our friends we had a brilluant time friendly people on the coach ,our driver lee was brilliant from goin to coming home and at our hotel will definitely be goin agan with travel with matthew
I cannot fault the customer service received from TWM coach holidays when we had a family problem. Thank you for sorting us out. 😊
Shocking company Dont qant to know about your complaints. Took 6 hours to get to London. Booked winterwonderland in London to get there and discover there was no tickets for us. Completely unorganised . Do not book with this company!! Save your time and money.
Wish I could give it less than 1. Its like being pass the buck every time you phone them. Tried emails but never email back. Tom Jones in Birmingham in December got cancelled. Still no refund from you!!!
Just had a fabulous time at the Adelphi hotel Liverpool. From pick up to drop off the service was punctual, drivers were very polite and helpful. Bus was spotless. We had exceptional service and good value for money Half board £69 I do wonder what some people want for their money
Just returned from a fabulous overnight stay trip to Liverpool, with my husband and son. Our driver, Craig was friendly, helpful and polite. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The coach was a luxury coach, which was kept spotlessly clean by Craig. There was a selection of hot drinks and soups available and Craig made available a wide selection of videos for our entertainment. Pick up was on time and at the local bus station, which meant that we didn't have to worry about transport to the coach. On this occasion, the coach was less than half full, which would have meant that it would have been difficult for the Coach company to make a profit but the trip still ran and the passengers had plenty of room to spread out and relax. We were booked for half board at our hotel, which was central and had obviously been very grand in it's day but now needs a big refurb. However the bedding was clean and the food plentiful and very good. There was also a good choice of food. The trip was a Super Saver and for £69pp was Amazing value. Just wanted to pop a message to you. We have just got in from what I can call the BEST night away my self and friend have had in a while. Can I just say how amazing it was. The driver Craig who took us too Liverpool was absolutely AMAZING with helping us get around and nothing was too much trouble for him!!! He was so professional in his manor and was keep the spirt of the bus going! A massive 10/10 for this trip! For the team thank you so much for these amazing trips you hold and an even bigger thank you to Craig for putting up with us all! Xx
Camden Market Fab service, the drivers were great bit of fun very informative, the bus was exceptional and the time we had in London was great all in all a great experience
My daughter caught covid a few days before travelling on a day trip, we were not allowed to exchange because we’d not given 14 days notice. If we had given them 14 days we could have gone on the trip. Weekend trip to Oxford and Windsor was a shambles from the start. We were picked up 75 minutes late, waited on main coach another 30 minutes then traveled down the Rhondda valley picking up all way to Cardiff Arrived in Oxford at 2pm to leave at 5pm 😡 but our driver let us stay until 7pm. He then told us that we could spend £15 each ( good will) at the hotel and we would be refunded. Still waiting 4 months on. Customer service advisor Patricia has a longer nose than Pinocchio and is in a hell of a lot of meetings when you phone.
Just come back from a marvelous trip from Bournemouth, lovely hotel and food really enjoyed the trips our driver Jamie marshall was really friendly and helpful we had one of the best breaks we been on will definitely be booking again soon all the best jenny and jim marshall from caerphilly
Booked with Mathew for a much needed stress free break after a bereavement. Ah Ha stress began when we didnt get any idea of our hotel, pick up times or itinerary without me calling several times and getting fobbed off! In the end pick up, travel and driver Jamie were the better parts of our break. The hotel however..... I needed a place to stay away from all the things that needed doing when you lose a loved one without any stress. I would usually do a lot of research into where I was staying but just did not have the opportunity time because we didnt know until too late, or energy this time and unfortunately was very disappointed. I would have thought that now because of the pandemic anywhere you stayed would be spotlessly clean but this was just not the case at the Heathlands. Our room was small tatty and although on the surface clean the longer we were there the more the cracks or rather the dirt began to show. There needs to be some more attention to detail....edges and ledges were dusty and dirty, the windows were filthily both inside and out there was soap scum around the bath overflow and hair on the rim, marks on the net curtains. If I had felt better I would have asked for a thorough clean before we settled in but in my current state of grief I did not have the energy. We observed other places around the hotel that were being missed by housekeeping too. There was a bottle of water on one ledge for four days and we got quite friendly with two bits of fluff on the carpet in the hall near our room, it was clear the halls were not vacuumed at all during our 5 day stay. our room was not serviced at all although requests for fresh towels and cups were obliged. Breakfast was ok but dinner was akin to school dinners in my opinion the desserts were obviously from frozen and cheap, it was all self service and largely uninviting. Staff were friendly but still were doing the absolute minimum. we found the reception staff to be if not off hand but not engaging. Requests were dealt with but with no friendliness or enthusiasm. Overall a dull experience. There were also some unsavoury residents at the hotel possibly social housing? and a distinct aroma of weed at the entrance on occasion.

Rang to enquire yet again also to find out the pick up time for another person who'd booked for 2nd April only to be told it was cancelled 1st March and he hadn't answered his phone. What happened to an email or letter and stamp. I will not stop ringing!!!
