Sep 20,2021Missed off the payroll again today for the 4th time. Tried calling since 5pm and held on for 30 mins only to be cut off. Was an excellent service and today, its the worse I have ever experienced.

Sep 16,20214 months in payslips were still not uploaded to the portal. No notification of payments due. Other peoples monthly money texted to me. Failure to pay on designated day. Zero response from emails querying monthly payments. Good luck.

I have found their service to be very reliable and really enjoy the ease of using the freeagent service. A special mention also to my accountant Nicola Worthington, whose knowledge and expertise have been so valuable. Sep 07,2021This is worst umbrella company I have dealt with. Never answered emails or calls. Tax repayment was held and all sorts of excuses were made as to why this could not be repaid. As the previous review said....avoid this umbrella company at all costs!! You have been warned!

If you'd like a company to pay you late, be consistently unavailable when trying to call, (to the point you'll doubt there are more than 2 people working for the Company), make a hash of your payslip and provide you with the wrong tax code, then this is the company for you!

Aug 31,2021Overcharged me on the payroll margin and now trying to get them to reimburse me over £500. No response to emails, customer service non-existent - utterly incompetent. Avoid at all costs.

Aug 27,2021Bad, Bad, Bad. Expect to be chasing money, incorrect payments on expenses. Tax payments all over the place to a point where you don't know which or what is right anymore. Customer service is non existent, rarely call back and never action any queries. I even copied in the guy who responds on here, Peter Langham. (His email address is in one of the responses) it made no difference what so ever. ********************** Thanks for the update Peter. Call me old fashioned but most of the contact has been on the phone or direct with individuals. Dexter seems to be the only one who can sort these recurring problems out, seems a shame that when he is off, no one else can help.

Aug 13,2021Was a 5* company but then disinvested my entire pension pot without asking me or telling me. It took a fair amount of chasing to get them to do anything and then many more months before my money reappeared. the Director, who once upon a time replied to my queries quickly and efficiently, ignored every email I sent to him. Incompetent at best. Edit: my name is Alan Tomlinson. How many peoples pensions did you disinvest from people called Alan?

Aug 03,2021I have been dealing with Robert Charlton from umbrella.co.uk and he has been an excellent help. His calculations for salary sacrifice have helped me see how I could save thousands in tax. I know he can't give me advice, and I'm not asking for any, but the information and his efficiency has already saved me days of working them out in spreadsheets (which is what I had to do last year) and I will definitely save ££££ over the year. Thank god I moved from another umbrella company to them, this service alone has been worth it !
