Excellent service! I would definitely recommend Umbrella to other social workers looking to do contract work. The customer service has been brilliant throughout - especially as I was new to the world of umbrella companies and had lots of questions! Payments were always prompt and the text reminder of payment is a great touch. Thanks to the umbrella team ☺️

Efficient and professional service. No delays in response to any queries, paid promptly and overall process and service was excellent. I would recommend Umberella above others. Not very impressed by this company. They do as little as they can. I had to correct their mistakes in filling up incorporation documents to HMRC on more than one occasion. Not a good start. When I politely pointed that out I received unpleasant answer full of denial. I raised the issue to managers but that was swept under the carpet. If you have no other recommendations from colleague contractors it is OK to start with but don't expect to much effort or care from them. Very unresponsive, not really helpful. I had to learn and do many things by myself. Very average. After a year I changed to another accountancy. Dear Peter Answering you I shall take away one more star for complete ignorance and unreasonable delays. Transition to my new accountancy takes your company already 3 weeks. Everything is like this if you are lucky to get any response or reaction.

I got paid on time, when I had problems with the online portal they were prompt at helping sort it and got everything I needed in good time. Staff I had contact with were friendly and helpful.

Really pleased with the advices and service provided for the past 10 months. As a first time self employed I found it easy, quick and not a costly setting up this payroll service. I recommend others due the quality and attention, I’d use again if needed!

I was recommended to use Umbrella via a recruitment organisation. I agreed to undertake an assignment at short notice and required an umbrella company to provide a payroll service. I found the service speedy, responsive and highly professional, especially Daisy (Customer Services Account Manager). I would recommend to others and will use the services of Umbrella.co.uk again.
