Aug 30,2018I went to Vickers about two years’ ago. Salesman looked at us disdainfully and would neither provide details on the products or demonstrate them. I had the distinct impression that he thought we couldn’t afford the products we enquirer about. Left very unimpressed and bewildered how someone can behave like that. It reminded me of the Not the 9 o’clock News hi-Fi shop sketch. A few weeks later I went to see Dave Fitton at the Audio Counsel. What a contrast! Dave couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Ended up buying a pair of Klipsch La Scalia II’s. Vickers loss.
