Helpful people and flexible too in doing an exchange when initial purchase didn't work out for me. They know their stuff and are not pushy. Will go back again.

.great company quick delivery but the B2 speaker was so much better than expected so well made and the zebra wood looks great but its the sound that will surprise you great bass good top end sound even better after a week well pleased

I contacted Vickers by phone and was given excellent advice. I then placed and order via their website and the items were delivered the very next day. All round a first class service.

Bought a Cyrus 6a amp at a good price. The amp arrived the next day. So far so good. The next day, after minimal use, the amp switched itself off, the display citing a PSU fault. Rang Vickers, and the gentleman was most unhelpful and did not seem to know much about the product. He could have said that he would find out and get back to me, but he did not. It was left to me to contact Cyrus, who responded quickly and courteously - turns out there was a simple fix. Compare this experience to the one where I bought an iPad cable from AnkerDirect on Amazon. A few months down the line I reviewed the cable slightly negatively on Amazon. I did not ask for a refund, but within 24 hours I was contacted by the company who are now sending me a brand new cable. Vickers, your customer service was poor and I shall not shop with you again. Ever. Added 19th June. Despite Vickers' reply to this review, there was no offer of a replacement.

Purchased a product from the website on 20 December and received my order confirmation via email. Phoned Vickers on 23rd December to see why the product hadn't arrived. Was told my card had been declined. No communication at all from Vickers to let me know there was a problem. Bank says everything was fine with the transaction. Sales representative was completely unapologetic. In my experience they were unreliable and unprofessional. No Christmas presents this year!

Purchased Custom Design speaker stands from them on June 14, received a few days later. Assembled on Tuesday July 5, noticed surface scratches on base plate, clearly manufacturing defect. Rang the manager, Philip on July 8. He asked for the complete stand back because 'the manufacturer does not send out faulty product and will need to examine plate'. All this for a plate costing about £20! It then turns out that, according to him, it had taken 'a month' to ring (actually 3 weeks) and people damage goods and then try to wangle a free replacement! I put the phone down incensed. In 30 years of buying hifi I have never encountered an attitude such as this. If you buy from them don't expect a replacement without trouble.

I ordered 2 Cyrus X Power amplifiers from them in December last year 2015. And even though it was a couple of days before Christmas the amplifiers arrived just in time. My email enquiries regarding delivery were promptly dealt with. I placed my order via the website. I find the website to be excellent with all the relevant details of the products listed. Usually all the products listed are in stock but I will highly recommend calling up or sending an email before hand. The staff is polite and courteous. I highly recommend them.

I have purchased Marantz Network player N8005 from this company download the app for my Ipad and it was very buggy app kept crashed on and no feature for playlist for these players, I have contacted to Vickers hi-fi and explained the problem and they agree to take it back, I have sent it back to Vickers Hi-Fi my own expenses, however, when I find out they only made partial refund I was expected only around £11 less for posting and packing they charged 10% extra for re-stocking fee!!! if you buying from this company make sure read T&C before purchase anything, I just would like to share my experience with the company, not happy at all if I known would be purchasing somewhere else, shame really, opened dispute to get remaining money (fingers x) surely if you making non-face to face purchase you are eligible to a full refund if you return the item in resaleable condition within 14 days but not with this company!

Visited the Vickers store for a Pro-Ject turntable, Ian the gentleman who helped me was informative knowledgeable and polite. Plenty of choice well displayed and had stock. This is the sort of help that I find most helpful looking for HiFi would certainly recomend this store. Thank you Vickers
