We were founded in 2015 as a joint venture partnership between Energy Saving Trust, Changeworks and Everwarm.
Since then, we have supported more than 35,000 households in Scotland as the Managing Agent of the Scottish Government’s national fuel poverty scheme, Warmer Homes Scotland.
We have continued to expand our work, taking on new contracts and building our presence across the UK. We now have more than 100 members of staff based at our offices in Edinburgh, London, Newcastle, Kirkwall and Stornoway.

Our work
Our work is a key part of the drive to reduce carbon emissions and the transition to a net zero society. Our role is to ensure that this transition to low-carbon living, with its rapid shift towards new, renewable technologies in people’s homes, includes everyone, especially those who need extra help and support to adapt to change.
It was absolutely fantastic the heating engineers were great they were on time courteous and left everything tidy the carpet fitter was brilliant nothing was a problem
If I had known at the beginning just how much upheaval & mess it would cause, I would probably not had it done. I think the original surveyor should be more upfront with what happens and that some rooms may need re-decorating (added expense, which some people can't afford). However, Ceiling Insulator was excellent and the odd job man that put the smoke alarms, extractors etc was excellent too, plaster & painter not as good, Did complain and they did send someone else out to rectify. But after going through all that, the house is unbelievably warm - keep having to turn the heating off - so saving money.
Good advice. The process was well explained and the time frame was accurate. The workers and surveyors did extremely professional work and described each step and the benefits.
I found the guys helpfull, fast and so far instalation is excellent,should have used old carpet to wipe feet before entering.
Everything from start to finish was excellent. The staff on the phone were very pleasant and helpful. Delivery on time, again a very nice man. Also the installation team, worked non stop all day, finished the job and cleaned up after. Leaving us with a very warm house. Thank you.

Amazing service from start to finish. Full new heating system, including boiler and pipework. House was upside down for 2 days, but well worth it. Thoroughly recommend.

After my initial enquiry to Home Energy about insulation, Warm Works surveyor assessed my home. I was awarded new gas central heating. T.K. Murray (Heating) surveyor assessed that I required a new gas boiler and two radiators, as the other five were in good condition. William Wilson (Heating Supplies) delivered all the above hardware. T.K. Murray installed the boiler and radiators. A new flue had to be drilled, to meet gas safety requirement. All the work is complete and inspected by Warm Works. A wonderful job done, and many thanks to everyone involved.
Our experience was made simple with being able to talk through what we could do to improve our heating system and make it more efficient. The actual installation of new storage heaters was done quickly and efficiently with no mess for us to clean up. A very polite and professional team.
Warmworks were very efficient and quick getting a survey done on property and getting wheels in motion for contractor to start work. There can be a lot of preparation for customer to do before work begins. Especially if you have hardwood flooring and getting central heating installed. Customer has to lift flooring themselves, If house is carpeted they will roll back carpets and put back in place when work is done. Our heating contractors aftercare customer service were not helpful at all. Delaying attending to major issue. Warmworks inspected /tested installation after work was complete ,
Warm works were great with me. I am deaf and cannot use the phone. They emailed and rented me with dates of meetings etc And passed on this info to the relevant company who was carrying out the work.
They delivered what was asked for, reasonably efficiently, there was some sticky points, but they got sorted out along the way, so all good in the end.
From the initial assessment to the installation of my kitchen door and finally the inspection, everything was professional and friendly. Very helpful too on maintenance. Just waiting on old door being uplifted which I was told they also do.
