Sep 07,2021Giving how long I waited for this and the price it cost. My expectations would be of a prestige gate that would be ready to hang. Unfortunately, I spent time doing a lot of remedial work that in my opinion should not of passed QC. Nails not sunk and filled. Chips out of wood Felt like the smoothness of the wood had been sanded on a 80 grit. One of the post was damaged with a serious of cracks half way up. In my opinion this gate fell at the final hurdle. For the price they charge. Would I buy again. No. Disappointed.

Sep 06,2021Gates were constructed and delivered within the indicated timeframe. High quality wood and strong fittings with installation instructions. I watched UTube videos on attaching posts to walls, which helped in ensuring I had the right tools and masonry screws for the job. I also watched videos on hanging the gates to ensure they were level. Definitely a two person task for driveway gates. Wortleybrothers’ guidance on measuring to get the correct clearance worked perfectly. We erected them over three days. Very satisfied with the end result. Key tips: Watch UTube videos; get the correct masonry drills and wood drills as recommended in the videos; measure twice, cut/drill once.

Sep 04,2021Paid quite a bit for the gate, paintwork on gate expensive too and paintwork not very good quality. The gate was delivered unwrapped which I thought was a bit ripe considering the price of it.

Sep 04,2021We bought some very large double wooden gates made to order to fit our side entrance to the garden. The guide to measuring on the website was really clear and ensured we ordered the perfect size. Without this we would not have known where to start and would probably have made a very expensive mistake. We had to wait quite a long time but knew the wait time before ordering. The gates arrived within the specified time and without any hassle. We are really impressed by the quality and finish of the gates. They fit the space perfectly and were easy to install. They look amazing. I would definitely recommend Wortley Brothers wooden gates, perhaps not the cheapest but definitely high quality and impressive design that add a bit of curb appeal to your house.

Sep 03,2021If you want brilliant service and fine workmanship for your gates plus finding someone to do a good install look no further than Wortley Brothers they can help. I am so pleased with my gates that were supplied and installed earlier this summer. Definately worth the extra cost to go for hardwood.
