Mar 18,2017The York stone delivered for my small dry- stone wall project was excellent and looks very attractive in situ. Excellent service but the delivery cost from Shoreham to Worthing was way out of proportion with the cost of the stone.

Mar 14,2017Donna in sales saved what was a potential disaster caused by a delivery driver who 'couldn't get up the lane to my house' despite being told to use a smaller vehicle on the order (7.5 tonne or similar for easier access), which the delivery company ignored. Donna took them to task and they returned the next working day with a 7.5 tonne vehicle, drove in easily, turned the lorry around and off loaded the goods. Now just have to build the wall.... Donna was a 5* operator, Delivery company a 2*.

Feb 21,2017I am a total novice re rocks and dry stone walls, so the web pages were very useful in deciding the sort of wall and type of rock I could construct. The quantity of rock needed was calculated by Yorkstone Supplies, and proved to be exactly correct. My low dry stone wall looks crude and rugged, and that is exactly what my wife wanted, so I am very happy!

Dec 16,2016Were a local house builder constructing a difficult build and using the stone specified by the client. Not only are Yorkstone Supplies easy to deal with and very transparent with costs, their product is excellent and when we needed to bring forward a delivery to be lifted over the building and put a hold on the balance they proved very accommodating. Thank-you Frank and your team for making life a little easier for us, if all our suppliers and contractors were like you the construction process would be quicker & easier.

Dec 12,2016The office staff were very pleasant and efficient. However, the delivery was over 2 hours late (in winter with short days, this can have a disproportionate effect on progress of the project) and 8 out of 15 sm of stone was damaged.
