It is true that we offer cheap inks and cheap toner cartridges, but discount inks does not mean that you are compromising on quality. We rely on word of mouth advertising as we operate on very low margins.

Feb 06,2015I purchased four black ink refills for my HP Photosmart printer from 499inks.com because the price almost seemed too good to be true. Turns out that it was. The delivery came on time, but I noticed that as soon as I installed the first cartridge, the "Low Ink Level" alarm went off. I figured it was an error on either my printer's part or my computer's part, perhaps because it was a refilled cartridge. Much to my chagrin, I found that after printing about 40 pages that the cartridge had completely run out of ink. I was under the impression that a full ink cartridge will get you around 200 pages of text. So, I checked the number on the cartridge and saw that I had, in fact, ordered the correct number. I installed the second cartridge, figuring that maybe the first one was a "dud." The second cartridge also registered as low on ink as soon as I installed it. Considering the fact that the first two were duds, I have no reason to believe that #3 and #4 will be any different than the first two. The only reason I give these guys two stars instead of one star is the fact that they offered a good price and the delivery was on time. I guess if you add up the ink in all four cartridges I ordered I guess it will probably equal the ink in one regular cartridge, for about the same price. Still, when I buy four supposedly full ink cartridges, I would like to actually receive four full ink cartridges instead of 4 cartridges that are 25% or less full.

Feb 06,2015I was skeptical like many others...so initially ordered 5 cartridges....They arrived fast and my printer accepted them as original ink...no leaking and no error messages. I operate a business where I print nearly 2 reams of paper 1000 pages a day and these cartridges last just as long as the manufacturer. My last order was for 20 cartridges....so you can see I'm a loyal customer now....seriously $4.99? WoW

Feb 04,2015I ordered a new set of blank ink cartridges and colored cartridges. The shipment came after 5 days. It's quite convenient ordering from them. I didn't always have to run all the way to some big office supplies store. I've never worried about the compatibility because it's always is.

Feb 03,2015I'm not sure how I feel. My first order - the ink was fine. I just installed the next order and nothing will print after doing all I am suppose to. It doesn't matter how heap the cartridges are if they don't work. Right now at this point I won't order again. I know it has been awhile since I ordered these so not sure if they could be expired...

Feb 03,2015couldn't insert a cartridges after trying several times. Others were fine Difficult to register problem on line. The questionnaire was larger than the screen allowed. Spent about an hour over a period of several hours to describe the problem supported by one of several pics Written response was to try again Called, with first verbal response being that the cartridge was fine and I should try again. Repeated that I had no problem with the second of 2 cyan cartridges ordered or any of the other colors that I ordered Spent about half a day resolving a problem that. Too long for the item involved. Received call that unusable (incorrect) would be replaced.

Feb 02,2015I own 2 HP Photosmart Prem printers that both use the 564 cartridge and have healthy appetites for ink. I love the print quality but the replacement cartridges are a serious economic event for my household. HP should give away the printers if they are going to charge that much for hunk of plastic, 1/4 oz. of ink, and simple flexible circuit board. You can by a cheap cell phone for what they charge. THANK YOU 499inks,com!!! I have run through 2 complete sets of cartridges on each printer with expected longevity, no clogs or smears, and full visibility to cartridge status through the HP software. I am very satisfied.

Feb 02,2015Ink is not printing. No errors, just nothing coming out of the printer head. But that's not really my issue. I cannot seem to get a refund going. At first, i got a couple of responses to my email requesting refund asking me what the error code was and what my printer was. After that, nothing. The phone call hasn't produced any results either. They simply referred me to the email conversation(see above)

Feb 01,2015Purchased all replacement cartridges for my Epson XP- 310 series printer. Received them and installed them and printer did not print. Went through all troubleshooting I could with the paper that was sent with the cartridges but not luck. Pulled them out and put them back in and still no ink on the paper. All tape and covers are off of them and printer goes through the motions but no ink.
