Had a really good week driving with 5day at the Norwich centre, Greg the instructor was absolutely brilliant, definitely would recommend!
Done the course in Norwich, very helpful and organised course. Highly recommend Steve Day for anyone with anxiety or stress, very understanding.
Fantastic instructor Julian Austin well recommended very professional and easy going a pleasure to train with thank you all at 5day ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Done my Intensive course at the Bury St Edmunds branch and it was absolutely brilliant! Passed my theory (thank you to Ian for the in class theory training!) and thank you to my instructor, Richard, who helped me to feel comfortable on the road and taught me brilliantly! I had my practical this morning and passed😁
They didn’t want me to pass so I did it myself . I have already written a review, but now I’ve passed by myself I thought I will let ppl know . Book your test yourself at your preferred centre and fast track it yourself for £10 via TESI app. Got my test in a week, at my preferred centre , not in the the middle of nowhere .
I don't even know where to begin. Let's start with the positive. Over the course of 5days, the in-class lessons were great. Our teacher was very prompt, had great timing, lots of help, was informative with the same structure throughout, and the whole class passed theory! Which is great! Now, for the practical, little did I know that I would have to wait over 3 months just to get a driving test. This meant I had to spend more money on more lessons to stay on top because they couldn't provide me an estimated time frame and blamed covid. Despite putting on the intensive during covid, knowing all the rules and restrictions. Therefore, I could be waiting 1 week or 1 year. I wouldn't know. I wrote an email, in which they did not respond, they called me with no solution. I waited another month and decided to email again, no response. Another month went and I emailed again, asking for a rough estimate as I need to plan for these things, yet again, no response. I did not do an intensive to wait months for a test. I would have just booked lessons! I stated that I wanted a test by the end of July/beginning august due to how long I had waited and this not meeting what they promised in their Ts&Cs which was supposedly 75% quicker than the national waiting list. Yet, people around me were getting tests sooner than I did. SUDDENLY 4 days before my test date, I get given a test for august 2nd. How 'coincidental right? THEN, I prepare for my test, only given 4 days notice and on a Monday (even though most people work) - Luckily I don't. I get to the center, my driving instructor is there. around 20 minutes before the test, the instructor thinks it's wise to go through how the car works NOW, even though this should have been done in our first lesson. An eye test (reading number plate) was also not done prior to my first lessons, I did this for the first time on the test day. Luckily I knew my eyesight was good. So no car information, no eye test. Now, during our lessons, we practiced a few maneuvers. One of which I was really struggling with and so we practiced a few times, I also chose to run through this maneuver with a friend to really understand it. Test day has arrived, my instructor tells me that we will not be doing that specific maneuver as it is not a part of your test. So we spent time practicing a maneuver, I was not even being tested for!!! At this point, I was so angry, anxious, and extremely nervous. All of this 20 minutes or so before my driving test! To top it all off, I get taken to the test center, where the test will begin. I have no familiarity with this road. NOT ONCE, did I practice starting from this road, or even come on to this road to familiarise me. As we drive off, I have noticed the roads we are going down, I have not once practiced on! What a joke. By this point, I'm in panic mode and just panicked. In less than 5 minutes I had already been bought back and was told I failed. I failed because I panicked, which is on me, but I mean, given everything stated above. I wasn't exactly put in a great position. I know they will not give me any energy nor compensate for this inconvenience because they couldn't even take the time to respond to my emails. I do not recommend doing this intensive at all. A waste of money. And if you are anything like me, someone who needs the right practice prior to things, definitely do not do this intensive. Such a shame, and waste of many things
Had my course take place in norwich and overall very happy with outcome , was always worried about theory but the training given meant it was passed with ease , very good practical training also from Instructor Bob Merridale i now feeling very confident to pass test thanks to all at 5 day
This course was super beneficial, all the drivers are super knowledgeable and friendly. Gregg was great with the theory, and Donnie was an absolute star with my driving anxiety
Fantastic week! Instructor was lovely, passed theory test, need a few owed hours with my instructor before looking at booking a test but he has been amazing, helpful and built my road confidence up :)
Really good experience! All the drivers are lovely and very welcoming! During the course you learn about all the theory topics, as well as the practical driving too. Covers all aspects of driving. Would recommend!
Great experience! I had a really good time during the week and all the instructors were great. The theory lessons really helped me and I passed first time, everything is booked for you making a very stress free week.
My son has just finished his 5 day intensive course today at your sidcup branch. He has passed his theory today however he has been told that he needs to take another 3 lessons and then go back for an assessment and then will be booked for his test. The reason I booked with you was that he would be put through to do a practical test after he passed his theory and if he failed he would get corrective lessons on the sections he failed. If it had been clear to me whilst booking I would not have booked knowing that I would possibly need to pay for lessons afterwards. The availability of driving instructors a the moment is non existent due to the back log due to the coronavirus pandemic and there is a waiting list of upto 3 months. Is it possible I can take him back to Sidcup centre next week and the instructor he was with can give him the corrective coaching that he needs to be able to pass his practical. I have recommended you to lots of my sons parents aswell as I thought this was a good and quick way of teaching our children to drive. I’m very disappointed and look forward to hearing your response. Kindest Regards Mary
Passed my practical test today very pleased to have got it done and got on really well with my tutor Lynne Reed who definitely was a big reason I passed first time:)
I have recently finished a course and have passed my theory test with flying colours! I am now waiting for a date for my practical test! I am so thankful for the staff here, they gave me complete confidence and were so patient with me. Would 100% reccomend.
A MASSIVE shout out to DORIAN WEST one the south east branch (sidcup) I have had 4 instructors and you are on another level!!! Thank you for giving your all in theory which lead to the whole team to pass. Thank you for giving me the confidence to become a drive. I appreciate everything you have done and building me up! I’ve recommended 5day to two people and they have now booked onto the Barnet branch! Worth Every penny!
My course was in the St. Helens branch and I passed the theory & practical test first time. Special thanks to my instructor Graham Marsh... what a fella!! Review on Graham Marsh, driving instructor Recently went on a 5 day course to gain experience and work on my driving. From the start I was put with one of the instructors, Graham Marsh, he was quick to pick up on what level I was driving at and by applying his experience he helped me get better at driving. during the week he was very easy to talk to and was a good laugh, I couldn't have asked for anyone better. I'd recommend him to anyone; great instructor.

Aug 13,2021Donnie was my instructor, he was so lovely to spend the week with. He kept me calm and reassured me when I was a bit uncertain. I have progressed over the week and am happy with how much progress I have made within a week.
