Oct 09,2021I completed my 5Day training at the Barnet (North London) branch today. While booking the course, the booking process was easy and quick. I was able to book the week that I wanted to do my training. I really enjoyed learning more about-preparing process for my theory test and practical test. I passed my theory test yesterday at the Hertford theory test centre. I now feel more prepared in doing the practical test when I'm ready to do it. Even though I scored mostly 5s in my ratings, I'm still happy to continue to learn more and brush up on my driving skills with my instructor Nigel. I would like to say thank you to everyone at 5 Day Barnet and I would also I like to say special thanks to Emilio (theory instructor), Nigel (driving instructor), Hertford staff and all the lovely students that took part in the 5 Day training with me during this week.

My instructor Tristan was brilliant friendly and really good at making you feel relaxed but pushing you to where you need to be to pass! Chris at the centre was also very good at passing on information on the theory side of things!

Starting with your in house tutor “Amelio” who skilfully guides you through a fast track learning curve, from basic knowledge to a complete understanding in 3 & a half days!!! On my allocated driving instructor “Jesus” who I would describe as a seasoned professional with patience & knowledge on how to get the job done!!

Sep 25,2021I really enjoyed my 5 day course in Bury St edmunds and by t end of t week all I needed was lots of practice. The theory training was very thorough and intense which made me feel much more confident on t run up to my theory test.

Sep 24,2021The whole course is very organised, with driving lessons before and after lunch times, with theory lessons before and after those. All the driving instructors were very professional and kind towards all students. The instructors knew when to apply pressure and relieve it from students when things got a-bit too much, very gd company!

I had Martin Tailford as my instructor and he was great, very informative whilst also being approachable and open to questions which was perfect in this learning environment. Would highly recommend this course

I booked with 5day in Ipswich and after just a few hours with Chris Wise I was enjoying driving and looking forward to it. He was very patient and help me with my nerves. Passed within 3 months. Couldn't reccomend these guys enough !! Brilliant and thank you

Sep 19,2021My son went to the Sidcup branch. I am posting this because I paid £1000 for this course, advertised as having "free unlimited correction lessons". Be very wary of this company and of any reviews from "reviewers" who have only ever posted one or two reviews. The wording on the website is intentionally misleading to encourage customers to believe that they will pass their test for £1000+. However, this is far from the truth and this week my son, along with 4 others , did not get near even taking the test. And that is the end of this company's involvement or responsibility as far as the manager sees things. When challenged on this, the manager (obviously well versed in deflecting blame and responsibility at the end of the week) said he was not responsible for what the website says and to take any complaints up with head office! This place he explained, offers a "course" of 20 hours of lessons and a theory test for a grand. It's a pretty expensive way to do that, which may I admit suit some, but my one star review is based on the way they word their website which is misleading and intentionally ambiguous and that they pursue this business model knowingly and actively. Despite what the website says, in real life you get 20 hours of practical driving for your £1000 and when they at the end of the week deem you not ready for the test, they absolve themselves of any more responsibility. In fact when I pressed the manager on what else they would do at the end of the course to help get my son ready for the test, he ran through a ready list of get-outs, including 1. call Head Office, 2. Nothing to do with him, 3. GDPR means he could not do anything, 4. There was no one available for extra lessons ... and it went on. It was so laughable, that I asked whether I could tape him, which he objected to. When asked whether he had in his opinion discharged his responsibilities and fulfilled his obligations, he repeatedly refused to answer. The actual fact is that 5day, according to the manager himself, could not even offer a single extra lesson - let alone "unlimited" lessons if you do not pass after 20 hours of lessons, a time frame the instructor himself said was not realistic and not to be recommended, naming 60 hours as a number that would be better! Be that as it may, if you are thinking of paying this vast sum, ask them how anyone could possibly avail themselves of "unlimited" lessons until they pass if they don't actually have any free instructors? Before paying any money to these people, try and get in writing what will happen if you don't pass the test - or in fact are not even entered for the test. The answer may leave you disappointed and shocked though I would be amazed if they answered this question directly. My experience with this company was so infuriating, that I am leaving this review now, a few years after my experience of them, because I am surprised and disappointed that they are still in business and still it appears using the same tricks to get your business. In short, a company that you trust at your own peril, who feel no obligation towards you once you have done the "course" of 20 hours, and whose model doesn't work (at least this week) in 100% of cases. Search for independent reviews! Look at the bad ones. Save your money.

Oct 10,2021This appears to be a scam. What you are offered if you don't pass the first time is very little. Not as advertised. If you fail your first test, you are offered one assessment only. The assessment determines whether you can take another test. If you are not ready, you are simply told to go and practice. No offer of further lessons to bridge the gap and ready you for a further test. We have paid over £1000 for my husband to learn to drive and I have basically taught him to drive myself. Each test cost a fortune because of car hire and service charge. After the opening up of test centres, my husband was made to wait months before he was allowed access to the link to rebook his test. New customers were given priority. I would not recommend using this company. Our experience has been very poor. My husband is still waiting to be able to retake his second test.
